No More Active! Mar 17, 2010 5:25 pm 237 Views Sine I made the last blog which was my birthday blog on the first on this month, March, I did not post any new entry! However, I am really being more active on FB, which is taking more of my time, than it used to be, and than what FFF is taken. There is no reason actually for that, except i think my situation when my account was deleted by FFF and had that bad experience, that really made me look for the alternative! One of the good reasons, made me concentrate on FB that I found most of my friends of FFF are already members at FB, therefore, I started adding them and still doing so. man must use this technology to his own interest, therefore we must have alternatives! my main goal is to keep in touch with all my friends that I met here, and i will do that, no matter on what site we can meet! I would like to thank FFF staff for understanding and being cooperative and furthermore to thank all my friends who stood for me during past days! What Would You Want To Be, If You Were Not What You Are Now? Feb 7, 2010 4:41 pm 550 Views Well! I was thinking... Many of us have gone all the way thru during their studies journey, to find out later on, that they could have been better if they just have chosen a different discipline or field of study! Many others, did not really choose what they wanted to study, but it was one or both of their parents, who wanted them to be an engineer, a medical doctor, a dentist, a lawyer or a politician ...etc! in my case, I myself chosen the field of political science for my BA major field and International Relations for my MA. After graduation, I was advised and told that only working with the government suits my field of specialization best! So, I joined the career diplomat at our Ministry of Foreign Affairs, till I became the Director of international relations later on! If I am to choose now, I would not choose to study political science, and I would not choose to work for the government! And I only found out that after leaving the government job and starting with the private sector in some business! Money wise, I earned in few months, much more that I earned from the 25 years I worked for the government job!! Not only that, but I feel how free I am in making my own decision! and if my decision is good it is me who is getting the advantage of it, and if it is not, no one is going to blame me for it, except that i will lose the Money i was expecting to gain!! Looking at the issue from another angle, do we really kill our children skills and bury their talents when they urge them to study what we want, because we want them to be also what we want, or it is true that we know better than they do? In the other hand, how much you find yourself in the job you are doing? and did you choose it because it was the only choice you have, or you only thought you could be good at this field not really knowing your capabilities and qualities? In brief, if you were not what you are now, what would you want to be, and how do u think that could have changed your life positively or negatively? 8 Comments

It is just that I told her: "Sulei will be like your shadow, because he knows he will be the shoulder u will need to cry on, in case your relationship failed with ur new bf! then she replied immediately: " i will walk only at times when my shade is under me! that statement lead to this reply that i wished to be under her Now how much truth you invest in talking to a friend when u don't want to appear as if u were serious, but it is obvious you are serious?! do people mean it when they send such messages, or it just goes by the way? how many of us really get those messages clear, and if that is the case, they may build on them?! do u think this could be the safest way of approaching a girl/guy because any one could easily run a way by saying: "oh..I just was kidding!! u know we were only laughing!" is it the fear of rejection again th at make people run to doubled meaning phrases? This also means, no matter how advanced the technology might be, we are still humans, and we will forever be! we have our hopes but we also have our fears! we are enjoying today, but pray for tomorrow! Valentine's Day is approaching! Pinays Going To Dubai Jan 27, 2010 5:50 pm 1156 Views We all know that pinays are almost all over the world! and we know the circumstances that make it even not an option for them, but a must! Poverty! facing life hard consequences in their home country! needing a lot, for very little they have! big dreams that push them to travel as if they were walking while sleeping! and I don't blame them when that is the only option they have, and no alternative left for them! Since employment abroad became hard for most of them in many countries, and a lot of complicated procedures face them when they apply through legal agencies to work abroad, they started to look for some countries where they can travel to as tourists! Dubai! Dubai, this tiny emirate in the country named The United Arab Emirates, grants tourist visa valid for two weeks for any pinay arriving there! But we know that those pinays are not going there as tourists, but exploring the possibility of finding a decent job! Since their source of income is already limited in their home country, it is obvious that they travel with a very little money, hoping to find a job the next day of their arrival! But things are not that easy! If they arrive at Dubai airport as tourists, they are not allowed by law to obtain a job there! and even of they found a job, they have to travel and contract from their home country with that certain employer who should obtain the approval of the concerned authorities before these pinays arrive there! in such a situation, they agree to get any available job, for any offered salary! salaries paid in such a situation do not exceed 30% of what they should receive, had they come legally according to the laws! So, they accept to be abused by some employers! The worst! If they run out of cash to spend on their daily needs, and were not lucky enough even to be abused by such a little salary, some of them find themselves in the line of prostitution because it is the only solution in that case! all options are worst than each other!! I wonder if the authorities in Manila are doing enough to educate those girls as they leave the country of what might be facing them when they enter a foreign country to work illegally! Those who already know, but insist to go, it is their choice! But di all pinays know what is going to happen for them before they leave their home towns? I wonder! 42 Comments
