MU---Platonic, and Role Reversal relationships ...
..I know, I've said this too many times...I am very conservative when it comes to romantic relationships...I guess, this is the reason why, after more than ten (10) long years, I am still NOT "officially" romantically related (again).Why is that? Could it be that I've been too careful not to have a bad "fall," or become one of those who are frequently IN and OUT of love?...I am still a firm believer that 3, (three) is the maximum (I guess, my old folks told me that) number of times to get things done right...oh, well, that is conventional too!  ...So, I've got two strikes already!...This elusive Strike #3, I just can't get to work as yet...And believe me, I do have some "good prospects/candidates", but I've gotten too____ whatever!
Mutual Understanding (MU), is a good thing...But it lacks the "formality of being a couple"..You can just look into each other's eyes, hold hands, and who knows? go all the way, and you're ON!...The bad thing about it, is that you cannot break-up with that person, because there was nothing tangible to begin with. How can you lose something you don't have?...Ooouuuch! Not a good thing to be a LOSER that way! 
Platonic relationships...Have I ever been into it? Oh! dear! this is going to be a costly admission,.. but YES! (with 2 different gentlemen) and honestly, it is very hard to describe, because I've been in the same private room with someone I trust and known for sometime, and that strange feeling of "what's gonna happen? " was there, and yet, I din't really know indeed, in case he will make the first move, IF I'll go with the flow or not, and yet, I allowed myself to be "there" with him, alone...Meaning, all the possibilities of falling in love, and being in a meaningful relationship with the guy were there, minus the sexual component and official verbalization of LOVE...Of course, your guess is as good as mine...Nothing happened,... that's why it's platonic! ( sorry to burst your bubbles.. )
Role Reversal is the hardest thing for me to do...Until this time, I don't think I will ever have the courage to propose to a man...I have this personal value that I need to be wooed, to be offered with, to be chased ( not that long chase anymore  ) and he has to be patient with me...Really, really have to be patient with me...But along with that patience comes one of the greatest rewards...that, of my undying love and commitment for life

ELZ...I think many single women becomes overly cautious, wiser and demanding when it comes to heavy relationship as they move on to their life in the later years...

| Role Reversal is when the woman is the one courting the man or initiates the I LOVE YOU, CAN WE BE A COUPLE, or LET's BE SWEETHEARTS, WILL YOU MARRY ME?...It's like women cannot wait for men to say those words that are expected from men...So, they take it upon themselves to initiate.. |

| Please, don't get me wrong..Each and every person has the right to do what s/he desires to do with his/her life, and I've seen a lot of women who are successful in their quest for a relationship, regardless if they're the ones who initiated it.. After all, we are in an ultra modern generation...I happen to belong to the old school... |

I belong in the old school too. Being chased and courted. Role reversal wouldn't mind in the bedroom.  MU's been in that platonic stage too. Once in a while says, "HI". Anyhoo, love is complicated enough. I'm at the stage if it happens super nice and not cool too. God bless always and be happy!!!

Welcome Back! ...It's been a while since you last posted/visited here...I hope all is well in your end...I do agree with you..i've tripled my protective shields after being hurt twice, but I did not really close my doors...I'm sure, there's always someone out there or maybe here, for everyone...It's just a matter of time and luck/chance...Take care!
