I've just had enough of that, and I'm sick and tired of it! I've had "friends" here who just come and go for some reason. I don't need those kind of friends. For me friends are people who stick with you no matter what, people who actually care for you as you do for them. People who accept you as you are, correct you when you err and say sorry (and truly feel so) when they do. They are actually real people who are willing to be with you, not just a bunch of cute pictures, nice words and mushy emoticons! So if you have a totally different definition of the word friends, lets not waste each other's time, please...[/SIZE][/COLOR]
I'm a deviant person, I don't conform to norms easily. I'm both extremes. I have the tendency to be a loner either by choice or circumstance, but when I become comfortable with someone, I become the exact opposite. I'm a frustrated singer/songwriter, I love music so much, I can't live without it! By the way, I'm also looking for people to Jam with!
My Ideal Person
I only need REAL, REASONABLE people in my life. If you don't fit this category, then don't even bother. Those who are who they say they are and do what they say. A good conversation is always a great icebreaker.
I really don't have any strict standards aside from the above. People can always pretend, and we have different personalities, traits, values or what have you. I've been an idealist for so long and I've learned that its all just a myth, the way people say to themselves that one day someone with all the qualities they look for will come into their lives and sweep them off their feet.
What if that someone is already somebody you know but you don't give him a chance 'coz he doesn't meet your "standards"? What if someone meets your "standards" but doesn't like you or just takes advantage 'coz you like him? (Unless its ok with you?) Worst scenario? What if that someone never comes? Then you just wasted your life on a fairy tale!
Girls, do yourselves a favor, open your minds! There's more than meets the eye. I joined this site to meet different types of people. Life has taught me not to discriminate because you'll never know how beautiful someone is (I'm talking about the inner self here) unless you take time to know that person. We can learn valuable lessons in life from people we least expect if we just broaden our perspectives.
I hate stereotypes! Don't put your best foot forward, put the worst one if you want, I'm openminded enough to understand. I'd rather know someone's bad traits first than later on when I'm already emotionally attached to that person.
I'm not a hypocrite, I do get attracted to pretty and "hot" girls, but I put more premium on personality and character. As long as we're honest and fair with each other, I think we'll get along. All that being said, honesty, fairness and loyalty are values I can never compromise!
