So hard to look back on memories
with no time spent to remember,
So hard to give up a love
that never had a chance to grow.
So hard to dismiss dreams
when they are all that keep it real,
so hard to let go of someone
who was never mine to hold.
As my mind grows tired of dreaming
my heart grows tired of waiting
and i am faced with reality
that it is time to let go.
Time to let go of my fantasy..
time to let go of a friend...
time to let go of you.
I feel as though i lost so much
when in fact, i never had anything to lose.

The broken pieces of my heart fall to the floor.
They scream, no more.
The silence sends chills down my spine.
I know that I'll be just fine
This is the last time I'll let you play a role.
I now have full control.
I no longer feel pain and strife.
It's time for me to move on with my life.
So I pick up the shattered pieces of my heart,
And allow only one person to mend that special part.
The part that will allow me to feel,
To feel what it's like to be real.

She was my one, the one I loved
Never have I felt this way
It seemed like she was sent from above
But she acted as the devil on this very day.
A simple hello
Turned to an evil good-bye
Tears on my pillow
Today is the day my heart did die.
I admitted my undying passion
She laughed and mocked my pain
My heart was torn, unfastened
I know I will never be the same.
I hung up the phone as tears weld up in my eyes
Why did I tell her, I ask myself?
Everything inside me hurt like knives
I wish I could curl away like a hiding elf.
With this pain though I must cope
Because I told her, because I was bold
Yet for this pain there is no antidote
Because it was my secret of love... Told.

Most of us know how to like
But only a few know how to love
It's because "Love" and "Like" are not the same
Love is to suffer, Like is to enjoy
He who likes pretends to feel
He who loves gives up life
And he who likes pretends to forget
And never cry or feel pain
He who loves can't think
Gives everything without a question
And he who likes pretends to live
And never suffer or worry
"Like" wants to finish fast
"Love" does not know an end
It's because everyone knows how to like
But few know how to Love
"Love" is the sky and our light
"Love" is total fullness
It is the ocean without an end
It is glory and peace
"Like" is words and flowers
It is to look for the dark corner
It is to bite, kill, and kiss
It's a brief wish
He who loves never thinks
And gives his life

I'm holding nothing back,
letting it all go
Saying what's on my mind

I remember the first time I saw you.
It was like a dream come true
But I was too shy
To say what I wanted to.
As the years went on certain feelings grew
And during this time- you never knew.
You were unaware- without a clue,
Unaware of my feelings for you.
Now I've put all my fears and doubts aside
'Cause these feelings I can no longer hide.
I wanted to tell you
But I never tried.
I was afraid and didn't know how.
But as you can see, I've found a way now.
I just hope it works

Lost in confusion and total self bliss
I've found the relation between dream and wish
A dream is a fantasy lived only while asleep
But a wish has a compass vast, far and deep.
A dream can bring true the wish never thought
As your mind wanders aimlessly and feelings are sought.
But a wish is a simple, momentous undertaking
A grasping of things while still in the making.
Now my understanding of wish and of dreams
Have broadened my scope - or so it would seem
But still I'm confused and nothing is clear
Because you are a wish, yet a dream so dear.
With the breath of each day, I wish for your sight
Visions of loveliness turned to dreams in the night
You've become such a fantasy with realistic tones
I long for your love and time spent alone
Sadly enough my dreams cause confusion
For all their purpose are meager illusion
And though the dawn of each day may be cheerful to sight
I fear the darkness and my continuing fight.
For now its a war - a battle within
A dreadful nightmare which rationality must win
What should I do? Where shall I begin?
Should I ask for your love or remain a dear friend?
In my dreams you’re my lover and my world is complete
But in life your a martyr to hope so elite
I've grown to know you and care with a passion
But fear lies within mutual attraction.
If I am to approach you with some indication
