Strange weather

We are having an early cold spell now in Canada. Last night the temperature fell to -11C ! This is too cold this early. Usually we don't get temperatures this low until mid December. This sudden cold snap has caught everyone off guard. People still have Tomatoes growing, but they all froze solid last night! All the flowers growing outside died last night. The leaves on the trees usually slowly turn colors and then fall off but because of the suddenness of the cold they froze and wilted and have started falling to the ground with out changing colors. And me I have not got my winter clothes ready yet! lol I think I better get on with that task tomorrow.

Just stopping in again with a small update. Things are going very well for me, I am busy and happy with my life. Still am not finished working on the house that I have been renovating all summer, but it is getting close. soon I will post a pic of the finished house.

I heard this song on the radio today and it made me think what beautiful advice it gives. Shower the people you know with love and you will get sunshine in return. That's a much better forecast then letting your pride get in the way and showering you with rain. The song is by James Taylor.

I have not posted in a while. I am still reading blogs when I get time but I am busy with work and setting up the new house. None the less I should post something and let those who read my blog know that I am still alive and kicking.
But speaking of the new house I find it interesting how every house has its own sounds. I am not sure how long before I will begin to recognize these new sounds...the other morning when I was having coffee outside a bear came and visited me...lol That's what I get for living in a forest!

bad internet

Well I am now moved into my new house, Yeah! thats the good news. The bad news is I have terrible internet connection now.....terribly slow!!!! I think I need to change my internet provider, but because of where I live my only other option is going to be telephone modem.....
