I can admit that the generation today
Evolved with newer or newest technology
That those belonging in earlier decades
Are kinda slow in coping pacing even in difficulty.
In my college years computer operations was in
We got introduced to computer parts its many uses
Operations was typing a button using a keyboard
Easy to_ understand and control as one chooses.
IBM, UNIVAC, NCR are the main leads of the revolution
Other companies later on developed personal computers
Which presaged the entry of home or desktop equipment
Later on updated to what we use as laptops and tablets.
I began using the typewriter to_ make my manuscripts
Bought a desktop computer to_ match the times
With a printer or copier duplication was peanuts
Came the fax machine making sending in minutes.
Early 30's had access to_ telephones and televisions
Believe the internet got developed by a Baby_ Boomer
A software language was a precursor and used in 1989
So history of modern technology is not a Millenial credit.
Many changes emerged today as brought in by Millenials
They were the adopters and what we the innovators
The marketers and wide users of these new advancement.
Albeit the Baby_ Boomers were the real and true influencers.
I am truly lost in this new envirnment changing rapidly
The cellphones are being used for cashless transactions
Cards being replaced for money digital processes for all
Even diagnosis for ailments go through same_technology.
Automation is so advanced that sooner lessens labor
I still stick to manual works in converting convenience
Nothing closer to_ genuine taste of food from the grounds
I patronize eating what's organic am this scared of GMO's.

Silent it is always when I rise
Thoughts of what blessings I received
My inventoiry before I start my prayer
Thinking was I worthy to have it all.
Each day becomes a shortfall
Of what I can and will still do
There are times I feel weak
Because am not what I used to_ be.
I should live each moments with grace
Having stayed this long enough for thanks
If there be more to seek and find
I just need to look around with smiles.
Time for me is not of essence
I see the flow sense what's going on
Reconcile to_ the fact that days come
With nights to_ rest it will also go.
As the years add more for me
Frailties soon become inevitable
Those supplements keep me going
Adding more zest to_ what I can do.
Soon grandchildren will have families
Swiftly time will fly to see me through
Abundance is no longer pursued
Life is still brisk but no more dreams.
I shall fade but not my writings
It will forever remind what I am
Journals are made to_ leave a print
A legacy for kins and others to_ appreciate.

That Homey Feeling

I've been only more than a year gone
Yet it feels like ages eons ago
When I think of what I used to_ do
I ask why not here no need to_ cry.
The cockle doodle do's of roosters
Sounding the coming of morning
I've been looking forward to hearing
The hoot and toot of horns selling "pan de sal."
My early morning wake to_ dress
Walk the distance despite the rains
They're the blessings I seek as gains
When the church bells ring to call.
But while there is still the pandemic
With staying in-doors always
I am sure to_ get my pays
For the variety of veggies that I see
The whines of my shih tzu pets
Urge me_ to_ wake they're my alarms
These licks to_ my face in swarms
Who would not want such joys each day.
I wish these dailies past winter months
Even praying my flight takes sooner
But everything got tough and bitter
Am staying for many months more.
A consolation though landed today
The vaccine here in Alberta in tow
My schedule is due without much ado
It's the Lord's way of telling not yet.

As early as November of last year, I made my online booking with MyTrip, an_ agency stationed at Toronto and an official sales agent of Philippine Airlines [PAL], so I can go home and be with my family in Manila on Easter Sunday.
I paid_ for itusing my granddaughter's credit card. So they sent me what they call an Order Confirmation of Booking for said itinerary. On January and February 2021, MyTrip and PAL kept sending me notices on changes of flight details, the last one_was_made last month with an itinerary having misconnecting flights. I leave Edmonton for Vancouver days later than my connecting flight from Vancouver Manila. Horrible!
So I sent MyTrip an email regarding this matter. They replied saying it was indeed a misconnection and therefore invalid. So they rectified the information and proposed a new schedule which reverted back the original itinerary I had_ paid_ for, when I booked the flight. But in order for MyTrip correct this and advise PAL, I was asked pay_ an adjustment package of C$45.00. I had this question in my mind, why should I pay_ for something that I have had no hand in contributing the error. Because I felt I was at their mercy (wanting go home soon) I closed my eyes and paid_ what was being asked as additional payment_. That was last Friday of the past wee Same day, My Trip sent me a confirmation or what they call my travel_ document which I will use for my check-in at the airports.
Come Monday morning this week, I received an email saying that the airlines have cancelled enitrely my itinerary/eticket. I called up ask MyTrip, if they can rebook for another itinerary which is the nearest available flight of PAL. MyTrip told , rebooking is not possible on any given day and time because their system do not have the information for future flights of_ PAL and that if I used_ a credit card, refunds may not be made possible. Also, that I need pay_ another adjustment package enable them do the rebooking, if ever there is a flight that could be made available come next. This fueled my anger.
How can I not be entitled a rebooking or refund when they keep rescheduling my flight schedule in so many spins with the ultimate action of them cancelling it all together, after receiving the required adjustment package? Baloney stuff for me!
Why would they extract an additional payment_ of C$45 to make adjustments or rectify a schedule they made and erred for? I had nothing to do with it. I just had faith in them in that they will accept my payment_ and let me fly, So I ask is there some kind of plot of fleecing passengers of their money_ with their mode of operations? I have read that several passengers have been following up on their refunds which they had filed many moons back and have not received as yet? What is their story in this?
They have just shattered my means of going home soon, with my last funds_ I borrowed, paid_ and used, to me that eticket. I can't shell out another to buy_ another flight from another airline. Further, my plans to be with family come Easter Sunday and to enable me to attend mass in person plus receive the Holy Eucharist are now in vain.
As a caution to all these events I underwent, this should be a warning to everyone traveling..
NEVER BOOK USING MYTRIP OR TRAVEL AGENCY THESE DAYS AND BEFORE YOU CHOOSE AN AIRLINE, MAKE SURE THE AIRLINE IS OPERATING THE ROUTE. DO NOT BE CONNED OR DECEIVED LIKE I WAS.

It's almost weekend again
Another month done 3 days remain
How swift that Valentine's done
Now Easter holydays soon come.
To Christians it's time for reflection
While others excited for the vacation
The month of March for the East
Will be surely warm and humid.
When it's hot weekends are busy
Beach for most is about water activity
Swimming, diving, snorkeling
With rod, hooks, lines time for fishing.
Irked with what's sweaty and humid
Off to the hillsides, mountains in speed
Enjoy the fresh produce in greens
Stay inside relax or hop in dine-ins.
It's still pandemic do not forget
Time to reconcile find no regret
For our days may come shorter
A must to engage in retreat or prayer.
Just some reminder it's still Easter
Despite our indulgence as sinners
The Lord loves us have that faith
It's easy to repent nothing will be late.

I am so fond of my great granddaughter, Cassy, that there is not a day that I don't watch her videos at Facebook. Not that I have run out of topics to blog about, but just proud to show and tell everyone about her. She speaks a lot of words now that she is just 18 months old. She has completely identified the animals in her wall chart, her body parts, the names of her housemates and loves watching "Moana, " and "Frozen."

With the preponderance of handles or profiles using photos of other persons, how can this be resolved? On the side of the reader, it is just as easy to delete or block this handle, but when the site you are in does not have that feature, like here in FFF, what do you do? Or does FFF have it? Another Q, how does one stop another person from using your photo/s online? Will putting a watermark on the photo to arrest this incidence? Can this watermark be copied or re-edited too when used another? Kindly teach me, thanks!
