Online Love Affair Why do people subscribe or sign up on dating sites,social networks? Is it really true that you can find true love? I know , it's one of the strangest places. Sometimes,it's hard to know who among the people online are fake and if there are still genuine people who would want to have a decent conversation rather than filling their sexual fantasies . Some are sexual predators lurking and waiting for their prey. But, I know some people who found their partners online. Good for them. It seemed like luck was on their side. Or the stars just collide and brought them together, perhaps they were destined to meet, on this busy online street. I came across several men online, some are smart and charming, some sweet and caring. But most of the time, i correspond with men that are very nasty and would tell me that theyd want to marry me but then would ask me to show of my body, I know that some of the pictures I posted are quite revealing. It was part of an experiment, a behavioral study to find out if posting those type of pictures would capture a mans interest or do they find time to read the profiles. Some men, are scammers who would send you sweet messages of their love and devotions. On how, you captured their hearts with just one look at your picture,and how they want you to be in their lives. They would formulate a story, very interesting and sometimes it is really very touching that you end up believing and you become a victim of a lie. I may sound like I'm bitter. I may sound like I despise these kind of sites. But, I am a member of almost all dating sites, not because I want to get married to a foreigner. I just want to learn about the different culture and how well, we can get along if we correspond with someone with English as their first language, this would help me a lot in understanging them more. So, do i still believe in Online Love Affair? I'd still say yes. I will still give it a try. |
