Five Stages of Grief (Anger)

Been in denial for so long,
couldn't see there was something wrong.
Anger never came my way,
'till for real you walked away.

Anger I know, in its time and place,
may assume a certain kind of grace;
But not from my contempt will you find your reign,
nor from my rage, deliverance from your pain.

And though on your grave I'd love to dance,
in the end, you would not stand a chance.
Cath'lic girls like me are raised quite well,
though in bed, you know you could not tell (lol)

Justice and prudence so they say,
come hand in hand on days of may;
You can't have one to hover,
if on these days you aren't sober.

So when the scalding pain of hate comes haunting me,
I remind myself of the real enemy;
It wasn't you after all, but all this anger
that in my life, I should've learned to conquer.

In the mean time though.. let me dwell on my angry music.. lol

"Santeria"

I don't practice Santeria
I ain't got no crystal ball
Well, I had a million dollars but I, I'd spend it all.
If I could find that Heina, and that Sancho that she's found.
Well, I'd pop a cap in Sancho and I'd slap her down.

What I really wanna know, mah baby, mmmm...
What I really wanna say I can't define.
Well, it's love, that I need. Oh...

My soul will have to wait till I get back, to find a Heina of my own.
Daddy's gonna love one and all.
I feel the break, feel the break, feel the break and I gotta live it up.
Oh, yeah, uh huh.
Well, I swear that I...

What I really wanna know, ah baby.
What I really wanna say I can't define, got love make it go!
My soul will have to...

Oh...
What I really wanna say, mah baby.
What I really wanna say is I've got mine, and I'll make it, oh yes I'm coming up.

Tell Sanchito that if he knows what is good for him he best go run and hide.
Daddy's got a new Forty-Five.
And I won't think twice to stick that barrel straight down Sancho's throat.
Believe me when I say that I got somethin' for his punk ass.

What I really wanna know, mah baby.
Oh, what I really wanna say is there's just one, way back, and I'll make it, yeah.
My soul will have to wait, yeah, yeah, yeah.

By the American reggae rock, ska, punk, and alternative rock band Sublime. This song was released as a single on January 7, 1997 after the death of lead singer Bradley Nowell. RIP.. you are still missed.

Hello Vivian..We speak of love often, we dwell on happy thoughts most time.. and grief - we seldom ponder about it. Like the passing of time - 'it' too will pass.

Why does it seem that the person that closest to our heart can be the person who can bring us so much grief? You'll accept eventually - that LOVE's a big package - its on the top and so much underneath. Even so, its worth opening.

Happy Valentine's day!! <3
