Forgotten I read somewhere that says: "The saddest thing about getting old is being forgotten." I felt the sadness of that person and the sadness of getting old. I wanted to reach out to her and say I will not forget her and I always remember her. True enough I always think of her, I never forgotten her, but is that enough? I am far from her and I don't even know her personally but I never forget her, is that enough? Does she know? I don't think so. Does it matter? Will she care? Perhaps. I don't think it's enough to remember, we must show that we do, reach out. I replied to her post and wrote that, sometimes being forgetful will probably help us forget that we are forgotten. There's a reason for everything. “Use the quotation for the occasion; do not make an occasion for the quotation.” |

I still remember all of you that I have encountered here, and I am thankful for the memories of friendship we had even though I have not reached out. I am sad that some of the people I have met here have joined our creator, but that's life. “Use the quotation for the occasion; do not make an occasion for the quotation.”
