Myths about Love.

There are so many definitions, stories, arguments and mysteries around love. When it comes to love probably everyone has something to say, has their own beliefs and principles. There are some things that others believe in about love that relationship expert dismiss as false beliefs or myths.

I came across a research that says we need love physically and emotionally in order to stay healthy, just like the body need nutrition. The research dismiss the following beliefs are myth , many of us may disagree. Here are some of what the experts call myths of love

1) If love is meant to happen it will happen. Apparently according to experts this is false because love can be learned, like learning a language. Sure there is chemistry initially but lasting love need to be worked on it requires attention and intention. So love doesn't just happen.

2) We fall out of love, no we don't,we fail to get involved , we choose to be passive that's what happened.

3) Men and women love differently. Well the need to love is universally shared. I am thinking of blogging about this too.

4) If the sex fades so does the love. Maybe it's the other way around?

5) Real love isn't about dependency.

Many will probably argue about these but hey, this is not from me these are from so called experts but then who are more expert of our own feelings and ourselves than ourselves too, right? We can choose what to believe and what to disagree. We have our own opinions.

Oh well I think I will just read on mythical love stories rather than researches the former are far more entertaining and inspiring that psychology researches.

Do you have any favorite mythical love story? Do you know of any other myth about love? Wan't to share it here?

What we believe whether others dismiss it as myth or proven true is what makes love a wonderful feeling.

Sam I did not delete any comment here or anywhere, this blog was removed or banned by the site for some reason and no explanation, then I just had to repost it, so I did not see your comment and you know I am not the type of person who deletes comments here or anywhere.
