Phobia

It has been a mystery to me lately that some of my mails if left overnight in the mail box,appear to have been nibbled or eaten by something and I can’t figure out what and why. One day I went to my mailbox and dipped my hand into it without looking first. I felt and touched something strange. I shivered in panic, screamed and ran back inside the house. I have to compose myself and gather strength to go back there and get my mails. This time before I dipped my hand I looked first. OMG one of my fears as I suspected it’s a snail. A snail is eating my mail.

So is that why we call them snail mail? LOL I wonder why? There’s plenty of grass on the front lawn I don’t use snail poison so why eat my mail snail? Oh I get it they want a bit of junk food too sometimes or a bit of variety perhaps.
I have always been scared of alive moving snails they are creepy crawlies I can’t even step on them or kill them. I don’t know why. But I don’t mind eating one of those edible variety cooked in coconut cream, yummy escargot.
Lesson learned before you dipped your hand into something have a thorough look first because you might be dipping into one of your greatest fears.

What are you most scared of? I have a few but nothing that is paralyzing just something that I would rather avoid.

Happy New Year I hope in the coming year we can all conquer our fears

    We can equally solve both your problems with the snails by ;

    1) Make an extra mail box for the snails so that they wont be sharing with your box
    every time a snail mail comes in.

    2) Then your phobia will be gone.

    HAPPY YEAR OF THE HORSE and not the snail.
who will direct the traffic for the snails to know which is theirs and which is not?

I dare to eat one because they are dead, I don't have that eerie feeling that they will be crawling on me. Like I won't dare go near a bull but I don't mind eating a steak.
