Reaction wanted Someone: “You are in your 50’s and you have the landi of my teenage gf.” Me:Nganga, speechless, dumbfounded with mixed emotions. I really did not know what to say. I was hesitant to post this one because I am afraid I will be drawing attention to me but I have written it so I might as well. Can I please draw your attention to the situation? I was thinking is that a good thing or a bad thing? The icons that followed the post made it look like a humour or mockery. Is that offensive? If it is coming from my sons it is definitely not a good thing. If it is coming from a stranger I will probably slap him in the face, joke. So it really depends on who said it I guess. I just wonder. I was never called a landi in my life at least not in my face and to be called that at 50? Honestly it’s not my balat sibuyas, I wasn't offended but I was left wondering did he just judge me? Who cares. Wiser? me: Well I have no control of what anyone wants to say or think but I definitely have control over my own reactions and that’s what matters. I have no control over what your comments will be but I can ignore them, delete them, rebut or fight you they are my reactions all under my control. Any comment? Ladies what do you think will be your reply if that was said to you? “Use the quotation for the occasion; do not make an occasion for the quotation.” |

Thanks tajane I have learn to take these comments with a grain of salt, one said I am a stick in the mud and another said I am cold as the snow. Tsk! I don't know what I am now. Like I said I am in control of my reactions, thanks for dropping by “Use the quotation for the occasion; do not make an occasion for the quotation.”

In this forum... "it's only words, and words are all THEY have to take your heart away..." "THEY" - you have to classify and qualify. Some say it constructively albeit perhaps the choice of words are poor, but well meant, nonetheless. The greater majority are just out there to put you down - just because it is their low-life way! Get to know who said it and why - then maybe the reason will be clear to you. “Use the quotation for the occasion; do not make an occasion for the quotation.”

Yes I'm back and back from suspension too, felt like I was grounded for no reason. Stink suspension. “Use the quotation for the occasion; do not make an occasion for the quotation.”
