A little act of kindness is still huge at heart
James Free, a worker with a Regina renovation company did what he believed was an act of compassion when he bought a cup of coffee, a sandwich and some cookies then gave them all to a homeless man. He tried to be very discreet so nobody would notice. He just wanted to be able to reach out and be helpful a little bit. What that man didn't see was after he left, the homeless man sat quietly eating with tears streaming down his face and a four-year old asked his parent why was that so. The story has been shared on a social media by almost 2,000 people. Men and women who live in the street have tough life to get by, that they need to survive on their own so when someone care for them in this act of kindness, they become emotional and thankful. If you were to assist a person, what kind of gift or help will you give? Some say they hardly offer cash because instead of the food, the money goes to drugs, alcohol or gambling. Do you agree? | |
Once in a while, someone comes along to put you on top of the world.

I've seen so many of those... they knock at your door and you open your home to them. Give them a decent job, a decent life... they don't want it. "Leaners", they are were they are because they want to be were they are.
