my dear philippines and my neighboring countries

it's typhoon season again . . we should always be prepared at all times. although we are generally better prepared than before becoz of the storms and huge disasters that have hit our country and neighboring countries, there are still some who were caught unprepared.. even the rich regions could be heavily affected. so every year before storms hit us:

A) ensure the roof and walls of your houses to withstand strong winds and heavy rains. make the necessary repairs while the weather is still good; ensure about 3 days of water and food supplies; C) prepare a survival kit like transistor radio, torch, mobile phone, batteries, clothes, medicines and food. You may be in danger of flooding or landslides so it is best to stay tuned as the storm develops; and D) identify evacuation centers like churches, schools & barangay halls.

it is important to focus first on early-warning systems rather than to expect rescue and response operations from the government and other civic organizations . . though these are necessary actions . . but we must also do our part to help save lives and more damages to properties.

from our past experiences from these devastating typhoons, storms
and disasters .. let's be aware and prepared. let's take part of every precautionary measure to help ourselves and our properties. always remember . . these things happen every year!!
