luksong baka!(Cow jump?.. maybe:))}

This literally pictures what LUKSONG BAKA is! I stole with permission my niece' picture! 'Twas a lovely shot!

Luksong baka was a favorite local game in my Pinas when I was young especially during my elementary school day.

In this game, one kneels down. 2 knees close and arms closer too for level one. then one player jumps over his back. level 2 is stretching his back n arms providing support too. You play here like a gymnast as the level goes up, with your 2 hands giving u support while outdoing the level. When you end up sitting on the cow's back, YOU ARE OUT!!

It is fun having THROWBACK of our youth!

happpy hugs, one and all! Keep your days sweet!

    Nice sun, nowadays children are not as active outdoors. I remember games like luksong tinik, chinese garter, street football, patintero, tumbang preso etc. I was a street kid I grew up playing in the street until late at night and I know all the kids in my street then now we don't even know our next door neighbours.
Bizzy>>>>>>>flashback.. throwback talaga! I also love luksong tinik..bansai. patintero, touching ball. i used to run a lot that when I go home kulang na lang tanggal ang dalawang manggas ng damit ko..tastas pareho! my sleeves almost worn out! My mother used to scold me for that matter. I did really enjoyed my childhood with these games..Batang Plaza naman ako ha ha ha! Ung resto namin noon , katapat ang town Plaza..dami ka miss..
