luksong baka!(Cow jump?.. maybe:))} This literally pictures what LUKSONG BAKA is! I stole with permission my niece' picture! 'Twas a lovely shot! Luksong baka was a favorite local game in my Pinas when I was young especially during my elementary school day. In this game, one kneels down. 2 knees close and arms closer too for level one. then one player jumps over his back. level 2 is stretching his back n arms providing support too. You play here like a gymnast as the level goes up, with your 2 hands giving u support while outdoing the level. When you end up sitting on the cow's back, YOU ARE OUT!! It is fun having THROWBACK of our youth! happpy hugs, one and all! Keep your days sweet! |

Nice sun, nowadays children are not as active outdoors. I remember games like luksong tinik, chinese garter, street football, patintero, tumbang preso etc. I was a street kid I grew up playing in the street until late at night and I know all the kids in my street then now we don't even know our next door neighbours. susan
