PARDON ME
For someone you loved for a long time, someone you thought you can't live without. A perfect relationship then. You defined DESTINY with each other together. Fate intervened. The worlds parted. Life goes on. T'was easy - living continents apart and slim chance of bumping into each other. Absence will help mend and forget. And It did.

But like the desert wind, he came one day. The familiar face, familiar voice, familiar smile, and yet unfamiliar. The apathy and the cessation of passion perhaps, NO - make that a certainty.. My heart repulsed, my mind detested. The word 'coming back' was an anathema. Worst than the vilest invectives. People live together for love, mostly. Moot point without it. Only the shadows of that love remains, even gone with the blink of an eye.


Pardon me, you'd asked me what happened to the promises I made? Please forgive me. I thought that love never fades - only kept aside, forgotten but never really gone.I was wrong. You see, LOVE DIE, too.
