Valentines day... I've always hate Valentines day. Because a promise was broken 18yrs later. We were married on Valentines day justice of the peace in Reno. My hubby to be, dad, and our friend(witness) came along. He even talk to me and said are u sure about this??? Well, my hubby was speeding and the police officer gave him a ticket. So, from there it was already bad before the ceremony. And after the waiter spilled some water on my dad. Where was my mom, she was at home crying her eyes at the night before. I was telling everyone he is my "destiny". The one i will love forever til eternity. Because God has put us together let no man separate. We would have been married 32yrs this come Valentine. But, u see in marriage bad things happen beyond your control. And when u are immature to do anything about it. The cookie crumbles. It was a learning experience that people change under the most excruciating circumstances. To know that he will only be the man who told me he loves me and beautiful in his eyes. I'm not bitter or regret because out of it came my 3 precious . We can't have every thing in this world. So, we must cherish the now in our life... My parents always assure me of their unconditional love despite their divorce when I was two. It was my mom who sacrificed more giving up her own happiness so I could be safe and not being left off. She worked hard so my dad wouldn't have any reason to contend custody of me. Tough for me to sleep over my dad, more difficult when I see my mom in another relationship. I almost failed in school in grade 3 and almost quit studies a year after. I always wanted them to get back to each other, but I know I am dreaming a lie. They hated one another pero sinigurado nila na lahat ng pagmamahal nila sa akin maibubuhos nila.

 Suppose there were signs and other members of the family even noticed that there might be trouble ahead.Anyway Ate Tess, you've a chance to start anew everyday with someone else especially for you. You deserve nothing less and you can find contentment spending time with yourself, your precious kids and friends.    within each one of us, and let it begin with me (and each one of us)..one breath at a time.

Thank you for the kind words. If my dad were like you, perhaps my mom would consider. But he's not even if he declared how much I mean to him. In order not to give me child support, he lied to the government that he's jobless when in fact he works under the table.

My father got married again when I was six but he and his second wife won't be able to have any children. The woman can't bear a son or daughter, she's sterile. Naghanap siya ng butas para makuha ako sa mom ko but he couldn't find any. My mother warned him that the only time he can take me away from her is death, na ipaglalaban niya ako kahit saan, kahit kanino. So sad ur father have to be the vilain. Trying to take u away from your mom. Lying so he wont support you. Just wrong for doing that. Your mom is very strong and courages. A blessing in disguise maybe God don't want them to have any children coz their bad in a way. Greatest feelings in the world when two souls profess a love for each other...
