Ms Mc P, I would love wine in my spaghetti thank you. Tried beer in boiling the crabs with all the others stuff mixed in. But, my family hates when i get too experimental they just won't touch the food. You're a very good nanny Phoebe. When you expose the kids to new things every day they won't get bored, and it's all a learning process and all good. Started to watch the movie this weekend "nanny mc p" it was good didn't see it all the way.  'te

if only i have the real Nanny Mc Phee's wand ate jo. you will be grand ate jo. lemme tell you a secret, keep a stash of jelly beans or haribo or any sweets and chocolates that the little ones like whenever they are around. i know you are not gonna believe it but these 'sweets' do wonders. the job of grand parents is to spoil the grand children. leave the parenting to the parents i say. you will be okay ate jo.

'teabt nanny mc phee, when i was thinking of a blog name i told JaneZ that i wanna be nanny mcP and my blog name will be Nanny Diaries but she pointed out that those have been movie titles. way to burst my bubbles! of course i know they are movie title!anyhoo, i went for U2s song instead and Plan B which is plan b in case trueblue gets banned, plan b as in Blog or B!tch  about things. turns out, there was a ban named plan b as well! argh!

Sawasdee to you Ms. Nanny Mc P.---i love the name  Maybe next time you can share with me some of your magic kids menu ? I really have BIG problem preparing food for my one and only prince and I really tried hard everything I can just to let him "like" the food I prepared  I failed all the time ! argh ...argh ! toughest job I ever had !

ate jo, i believe (and most family i work with) in moderation. the children should not be deprived of anything. kase i know a family who does not allow their child any sweets at all for reason that they dont want the child to be hyper active. the child is same age at the eldest here, 6 years old. and she ayways come for a play date with the children either on wednesdays or fridays. i give the children a little something if they are very good , which makes them really happy. its a win win situation. then this particular child, when she is in the house and sees sweets, para siyang patay gutom.  inaagawan niya lahat mga bata e meron na nga siyang share. nakakahiya.my brats on the other hand are well behaved compared to her. i think its just more on how a child is raised. its not like you will give the child sweets for his breakfast lunch and dinner. even nanny mc phee would not want that.

hehehe ate jo, she starts to look nice little by little every time her charges change for the better. lol i didnt realize a lot of you see movies like that. akala ko i would be the only one interested coz of my line of job.

I really have BIG problem preparing food for my one and only prince and I really tried hard everything I can just to let him "like" the food I prepared I failed all the time !argh ...argh ! toughest job I ever had ! at least now he would let me chop sausages or rashers and chopped vegetables and a bit of cheese sauce mixed into it. before, there is no way he would go near any food apart from pasta solo.sometimes if i had more patience lol and more time, i would ask the children to help me decide and prepare the food with me. we also have a vegetable garden you see and the children likes looking after the garden and i make them pick the vegies they want. my brats would eat raw tomato and pepper, raw carrots, cucumber and even the odd raw sugar snaps hehehe so this makes up for the sweets i bribe them with  sometimes if i make apple juice i sneak in a bit of celery too.what sort of foods does he normally enjoy anyway?

i agree that feeding the children is one of the hardest aspect of looking after them . i use to stress a lot if the children dont eat but over time i learned to relax about it. if the child does not want a particular food i just let them coz if you force a child to eat something it will now become a battle of will its not about the food anymore. and children always win on this one, they are stubborn creatures!

hahaha i know as long as it is balanced. sometimes if they dont like to eat their dinner i would tell them whoever finish eating his dinner will have an ice cream later...then voila!! results! hahaha

ehehehe ms fork. the warts are all gone. the kids are all very good now (sometimes!) and at times you see more than warts on a bad day! lol i never realize that a lot of peeps in fff love that movie ! i love movies like these. light and easy, just so i can relax while watching and not go out feeling like i have been robbed of everything good after watching.

Can't say I like alcohol on my food. Ruins the taste, but it's one way to tame the kids. A friend gives his son a tiny drop of alcohol with his food when he has pains and aches.    within each one of us, and let it begin with me (and each one of us)..one breath at a time.

A friend gives his son a tiny drop of alcohol with his food when he has pains and aches. its good to introduce kids to different tastes to encourage them to be more adventurous with foods, so far im doing well with the other kids, not so with timmy- he is one fussy eater!!
