It takes a lot of patience dealing with autistic peole, children or adults.

They have their own world and everything is routine. Any change will definitely stress them out

Yes, Tinkz, they usually have one or 2 very special talents that they "focus" on...It could be something so brilliant, and truly amazing. I am a pediatric RN and I deal with them. I have one patient that was very good in everything "computer", he was like a Geek. He knew everything about PCs/Information technology, etc. BUt, other than that, he had too much difficulties. He could barely write decently...THe thing with autism is most of the time, it is coupled with ADHD, which really makes things complicated and risky.

I truly understand, Tinks. When I was working in OBstetrics, the doctors often advised women that once they have one autistic child, there is a big chance that the succeeding children may also be autistic. I have one co-worker who believed otherwise, and indeed, all her 3 children are autistic. Still, they are gifts from God and truly are very special... the parents do get involved into their worlds...
