Practice intensive prayer or meditation like Jesus,Buddha and other Masters did Let us follow Their prayerful or meditative life In this way,we’ll discover the riches of what our inner life really is Full of Love…Joy and real Happiness that is indescribable. |

In Matthew 6:5-8,Jesus said "Also,when you pray,you must not be as the hypocrites;because they like to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the broad ways to be visible to men.Truly,I say to you,they are having their reward in full.You,however,when you pray,go into your private room and,after shutting your door,pray to your Father who is in secret;then your Father who looks on in secret will repay you.But when praying,do not say the same things over and over again,just as the people of the nations do,for they imagine they will get a hearing for their use of many words.So,do not make yourselves like them,for God your Father knows what things you are needing before ever you ask Him." In Tao Te Ching,Lao Tzu said "Without leaving the house,one may know all there is in heaven and earth.Without peeping from the window,one may see the ways of heaven.Those who go out learn less and less the more they travel.Wherefore does the sage know all without going anywhere,see all without looking,do nothing and yet achieve the Goal!"

Is being alone in the room in silence enough or do you do anything else eg. turn on calming music? Thanks.     within each one of us, and let it begin with me (and each one of us)..one breath at a time.

Hello Jane, Good day.Nice to hear you back.Thank you very much! Quite interesting question you've got.I love music myself for relaxation,but it's much better to listen some before or after you pray/meditate.We should reduce external stimuli as much as possible so we could gradually discover the essence within us.This is why Master Jesus informed us to shut the door of our private room before doing a prayer.Silence is golden my friend.Have an awesome weekend!
