Jealousy... "Jealousy, that dragon which slays love under the pretence of keeping it alive." ~Havelock Ellis~ Jealousy as defined by Webster`s New World Dictionary, means "to be very watchful or careful in guarding or keeping; resentfully suspicious of a rival or a rival`s influence." This is a simple definition for a complex word. Everyone experiences jealousy differently. What may cause one person to become jealous may not affect the next. Jealousy is often used synonymously with envy. Envy, however, is the desire to acquire something possessed by another, and jealousy is the fear of losing something already possessed. People are jealous when they seek to maintain control over human beings who are important to them. And why Am I writing this blog about jealousy? I always get into trouble for being rhetorically very outspoken. I speak my heart out, and more often than not, I am always misunderstood. I lost very good friends because of jealousy which stemmed from a very unfounded and ridiculous, vicious suspicion. I have been part of what is now a towering height and also a part of what is next to it. I've done what I thought was more than dedication and friendship. And yet, I wasn't spared from jealousy or maybe envy. Power struggle is never meant to take over what was thought and considered as love, and compassion beyond the square screen. On the verge of death, I "helped" resuscitate what seemed to be in near death flock of birds, and together, we flew high and rose above the skies. However, there will always be "thankful and thankless" elements along the way....History has the tendency to repeat itself...I REST MY CASE, IN RECLUSE.   ELZ  |

Dearest Elsa, Have had a share and dose of this so called jealousy in life. But, to heck with it. I've stumbled and fell so many times. At this age i'm tired. I give up... hahahahah

Trish, I can understand why people are jealous of you. You have all the reasons to be smiling these days, 'coz not only your love is well advertised, it is well applauded. Keep in mind that some people don't want couples to live happily ever after. Evil-wishers are looking for opportunities to break your heart into...Just be very careful..DO NOT LET ANY MISCOMMUNICATION tear you apart. WE ARE A PART OF YOUR ROMANCE here at FFF..Stay happy and stay blessed.  ELZ

Tess, sweetie, that kind of jealousy warrants arrest. It poisons not only the relationship, but it poisons your whole being. It will eat you up more than parasites will, and it will leave you nothing, not even your soul. It's good that you gave up. It's not worth your wrinkles, My dear. That's what I said, "give up"!!! Hahahah don't wanna add more wrinkles. We are surely gettin older. All we need to do is relax about life. Go with the flo as they say. Take care of that shoulder and I'll be praying for you...

   I think jealousy creates anxiety,anger,loneliness,hate,fear.No one thinks clearly when jealous.Jealousy is a lack of trust,insecurities & communication... For example... Bob says to his wife,"I don’t want to feel this jealously.I want to get rid of it by asking you a question,okay?Good.So are you attracted to Joe?" His wife says,"Heavens no!Joe just wanted some help with his son.I love YOU like crazy!" Bang!The hidden communication is revealed.The mystery is resolved.Bob feels much better.
