The Emotional EB in Las Vegas I am back to Bloglandia. I was away for 3 nights and 3 days, off to Las Vegas, to meet 3 wonderful people namely: JOYCE, >> privatejoice GEMMA, >> Malambing2 and ED >> ev55 Never in my entire life did I expect that meeting wonderful people over the internet could yield into something very touching and sentimental...What started as an over-excitement during the first day of meeting, became so intense. We bonded right away, even slept together in the same hotel where I was housed. We ate breakfast, lunch, dinner, shopped, did some cooking and housekeeping together. We drove day and night via the Vegas strip,and on my final evening, we went to the Philippine Garden, where we sang (ED and JOYCE) and danced the night away. We were like real family. We felt so close, and bonding was extraordinary. Until it was time to say "farewell"...We hugged each other so tight, tears actually rolled down our faces. Goodbye was not an option, but there was this BIG QUESTION of when will we ever see each other again? We all came from different places (except Gemma and Ed, who both live in Las Vegas), and the Filipinofriendfinder was the only medium that brought us all together in the REAL WORLD...My friends, my chosen friends are ALL REAL...What you see in the pictures, are actually the same faces you see in real life..No more, no less...And I feel so blessed...Truly blessed. TO ALL MY WONDERFUL FRIENDS: You are like balloons, If I let you go, I can't take you back. That's why, I am going to tie you close to my heart, So I'll never ever lose you...   ELZ  |

Hello and thank you too, Ed...I really appreciate your hospitality and "treats"..Diyahe talaga..as in nakakahiya..Next time, it's my treat also...Gemma as always, gave us a VIP treat to the Red Rocks Buffet... I sure will invite all of you to my "wedding"...But it might take forever to see it happen...I am still resting my poor heart, and I don't see myself with anyone in the next couple of years...Unless, God will send someone who will sweep me off my feet...  ..But at this time...I don't think so..I don't feel it coming at all... ELZ

Hehehehe...I don't know about the rest, but I know, I do not ask questions...I find it intimidating..I am like that too...I don't want people to ask personal questions..I have my way of "telling people off" nicely that they are crossing the private line. And I want to treat other people the same... ELZ

Awwwwww~! soweee!...I thought nga na malaki pa sayo yun eh...But my son always tell people... If you want to lose weight, don't buy clothes a size bigger...Don't let the clothes fit you...You need to fit into them..IT DOES MAKE SENSE!..(motivating di ba? ) ELZ

Today, Joyce will be back in LA...I hope she will have a safe trip as well...I know that her friend will have a separation anxiety...It's been more than a week of bonding...I know that is kinda hard...I miss you all! ELZ

Hehehehe...I know...pero, in the long run, you'll be sensitive enough to know a person's comfort zone.. ELZ
| ||
|
Gem, I know, it is hard to do the dieting at this point, because there are lots of parties and festivities...But, just like the rest,,,NEW YEAR is the best time to start...You can still eat, but in moderation and small frequent feedings... ELZ
| ||
|
And yeah, try to avoid the "buffet" style...It will take 50% of your food intake..Kasi with that in mind, you feel guilty if you don't at least take your second trip to the buffet line...My advice: Buffet should be once a week only, then as the weeks go by, make it once in every 2 weeks and then, go lesser, until it becomes a habit... ELZ

And don't forget exercises, even brisk walking will help...Or that kind of exercise burns a lot of calories too! ELZ
| ||
|
I feel lonely as soon as Allegiant air took off back to McAllen...As a matter of fact, Joyce and I cried the night we separated from my hotel lobby...It was quite a "bonding" we all had...I never experienced this before...To the point of all of us sleeping together in a hotel...We were inseparable, indeed...Just like a family... ELZ

Gem, you have a very bubbly and charming personality...Don't allow yourself to indulge in something that you don't need...I've seen your old photos and you were very skinny...Don't think of yourself as a hopeless chunky at this time,,,'coz you are not...You are just a bit taller and heavier than Joyce...and ME! I've been slacking with exercises lately...I'm too stressed out to do that...The last time I was on a treadmill was last September...before my travel to Hawaii...and that was it! ELZ

Gem, crab legs by themselves are pretty okay...it's the rice and other carbs that are really putting the extra paddings elsewhere... STay motivated...You've got a pretty face...next project is to keep yourself "curvey"..specially now that you have a MEDEL.. ELZ
