TEXTING: A very slow way to start....


What the HIGH TECH can do to people!...It used to be that courtship starts with a smile, followed by wooing the parents of the girl, and gifting her and her family with fruits and other farm harvests...(sheeessshh! that tells you just how old and conservative my background is...lols )..And then, when the parents give the man the "okay" to court their , he will have to wait months or years for them to be sweethearts..Now, that was VERY SLOW...Nowadays, courtship (for the lack of better words in this generation) can be as fast as "lightning".....And not only that, everyone loves to have a grand wedding (to those who really like to tie the knot)..Unfortunately, just as the couple recovers for their wedding expenses, some are already on the brink of getting a divorce.....That is very sad......So, I guess, being a very slow person, it's okay that I am texting "again"..For some reasons, that's just about my comfort zone at this time in my life...Then, I go from there...

 My point is, if I get "motivated", then, "inspired ( two things I need) from this texting activities, then, maybe like an old car, once warmed up properly, I could be up and running smoothly, and ready to GO!

Miss the time of the 'gold old era gone by' where you call someone on the phone and 'telebabad' for 2 to 3 hrs, surprisingly talking about everything but nothing. Makes you more closer than the inanimate texting now..

Yeah, I know, Thet... even when my son was with me...we're in the same house but different rooms and yet we texted each other whenever we needed to communicate..
