this girl is a fake I feel like a fish out of water, a bird in the sea But in the mirror is a girl who looks just like me She goes through each day like she did before Suddenly she just isn't content anymore Each day is so fake, words are so hollow She takes all this in, but its hard to swallow. Who is she, this girl that i see? We look so alike, but how can this be? I'm a in the city, a in a cage A little girl in a body that’s three times my age That's not me in the mirror, no not at all This girl hangs her head low, I held mine up tall. I've got a million distractions but my minds just far too strong I've got a million exceptions of where my being does belong. And I'm sorry to waste your time sorry to pull out your breath but you're always going to be mine until nothing there is left. You shouldn't need to ever worry I'll be waiting if you ever leave I'll bite down such tears and fury and this heart will learn to weave. Your closeness, my heart skips beats and my mind memorizes your lips times when my independancy retreats and my crystalline cage just rips. Things that flood back to your memory tug me back in such a joy as well the lock of your arms that set me free have me running on a slave-like spell.
