Who's gonna Love me now? As age creeps slowly upon me, who's gonna love me now? Not as handsome or strong as i used to be, who's gonna love me now? Hair is turning gray, more and more with each and every passing day, men much to macho, and proud to use dye, who's gonna love me now? Everyone call me "sir" and i'm never asked to show my ID to prove i'm of legal age? are grown, wife is gone, now i have time to think, in peace and quiet? Man I never thought this day would be so lonely? NO one to tell to pick up this or put that away, or stop arguing and love your siblings? No toy to trip on, no more constant ringing of the phone, my baby is a Mrs. now. Sitting in first class hoping for some enlightening conversation, last guy slept the entire trip, the one before that, she was into her book, the attendant is friendly but she's on the clock, babies crying, granny needs another pillow, and the women in front of me, her steak is too well done, who's gonna love me now? Mom's retired, dad passed away,my siblings live so so far away,who's gonna love me now? Morning comes and I have awaken to see another day, all is quiet, no noise to wake me up too early, unless it's garbage day? No meat frying in the pan, or television playing too loud to arouse the senses and start my day, just an irritating alarm clock? Spring will be here soon, I miss the dove that sits on my window sill and sings but fly's away when i rise, who's gonna love me now? 2 B continued TJ
