Ice field

A friend of mine took a picture of the farmer growing ice down the road from me. So I asked him to forward it to me so that I could show it here.

Well there are plenty of people here who are curious too so I will see if I can get an answer to that question but for now I suspect the farmer was too busy to turn off the sprinklers when the cold came.

It sure will be a money maker in the Philippines. This ice field will only melt in the tropical heat.

How does the farmer keep the ice frozen with sprinklers and the cold weather in Canada?

within each one of us, and let it begin with me (and each one of us)..one breath at a time.

Well it takes extreme cold to freeze running water, so as long as he leaves the sprinklers running they will not freeze. But it was cold enough that the water froze on his field as soon as it landed.
