Pope Francis and Pope John Paul II

I saw Pope John Paul II when he went to the Philippines in 1995. I was like a groupie following him and fervently praying for my special intentions, which features predominantly my family. Looking back, meeting him, strengthened my faith, renewed my belief and kept me focused on the important things in life.

Now, I missed the occasion of Pope Francis visit in the Philippines. I read the news snippets from Facebook and rappler. Watch the videos at youtube and envied the people who are with him. I bet it is an experience to be remembered.

I fervently hope that the faith of those who experienced it, reinvigorated and strengthened their spiritual well being.
