Stolen Looks. . . . . . .
Stolen looks from across the room,
Looks that I do not want to assume
Are meant for me,
For I feel there is no reason they should be,
Yet I can't help but hope they are.
Stolen looks at me from afar...
But I ask, why me, out of all those around?
Why should an angel look so far down?
Why do your smiles seem meant for me?
Is that sparkle in your eyes meant for me to see?
Is it just my imagination? I really don't know.
Are you stealing looks? I really hope so,
Because I am not sure what to do,
Yet I can't help but notice that now I'm stealing looks, too.
So now you're looking at me and I'm looking at you.
So now what are you and I to do?
What's left but to introduce myself and say hi?
I just want you to know you caught my eye,
