Choices
A path set into motion before thought was given
Two paths become one, by heart's love driven
A promise made to vow their bond strong
A new journey starts, both invigorating and long
Years go by and paths start to stray
Two separate paths appear, each going their own way

Unfamiliar steps are taken down roads less traveled
New relationships are formed, unique bonds unraveled
Memories of past travels become more distant
Fond recollections created with each new incident
With each passing voyage comes the probability of
Crossing old paths long since forgotten

Now here I stand, looking out
Wondering where to go,
Wondering what it's all about
At the crossroads in life you're faced
With what path to choose and which to replace
Did I stray from the right, was I led down the wrong,
Is the place I'm at now where I really belong
A step not taken is now long overdue,
A question unanswered, what should I do?
A coined flip would resolve this one best
Let fate decide, and I'll do the rest...
