What doesn't k*ll you, makes you stronger


I do not go out of my way to fight with people, even though my personality is such that I have no trouble expressing whatever emotions I am feeling, be it excitement, happiness, sorrow, sadness, anger or madness. I am very outspoken, and at times, I get misunderstood. One of my pet peeves is when someone assumes that whatever I write or talk about is concerning about him or her and therefore "owns" my general statement with resentment and fury. The worst next thing to happen is when that same person takes the situation on a heated level without even making an attempt to clarify or verify the earler doubts/suspicions, rages a war on you, bringing his/her army and attack you. The person can be a close friend or relative and it can really hurt you, knowing you have not done anything to harm them. This situation can drag on for months or years, and you are just left with the good memories shared with that person. However, for your own sake and well being, you don't want to hold a grudge. You forgive, anyway. For it is more important to have a peace of mind than consume yourself thinking what could have been and what else is there to restore. In the end, it is also better to pray for that person to also find his/her own peace of mind. People say: " There are no permanent friends nor permanent enemies." And I say, Life goes on.

Good attitude and outlook in life, Elz. Grudge will just drag us down. It is better to ignore and later forget what just happened. But keep your options open for reconciliation.
I'm a senior citizen . Don't expect me to remember anything

Good morning KaBert! Life is too blessed to hold a grudge. There are still many EBs to attend and many more travels to enjoy. Reconciliation is always an option. One just has to keep an open door and open arms. ❤️❤️❤️
