Trying To Fit In: Part 2 Personalities, idiosyncrasies, individual differences, different "itch", name it, we have it all here at FFF. More than 3 years as a member, I participated in 3 groups (one disabled),am still actively blogging, I have met a lot of people, real and unreal (in that order), and as of this writing, I've Eye-Balled a total of 7 (including the one who has presented himself as a ghost, and still is  ) and so far, all is well, and I am looking forward to meeting maybe a couple more.I tell you, being here, and interacting with members that I haven't met in person yet, I find it quite tough at times, because I need to "fit in" to the above mentioned member descriptions. It's hard to "rub-elbows" with people, specially if they refuse to go outside of their own shells. Those are the type who prefer to be accepted as they are, but on the contrary, who refuse to take others as they are (in short, people who are so full of themselves)  ...There are those who crack jokes in accordance to their personal standards which may not be acceptable to others, and yet, whenever they are the recipients of similar jokes, they take it personally. It only shows there are always 2 sides of the coin, and we cannot be our own mirrors.There are those who've become friends, then later on, enemies, then friends again, only because someone, somehow, decided not to keep grudges. There are also members who prefer to gang up against someone just because s/he is an enemy of a friend. That might be an act of immaturity, regardless of age, but, it is happening here. Bottomline, we stick around FFF because of acquaintance and mostly of goodwill, even if it means only for one person, who does make a difference in our lives.... Just call me ELZ  |

FFF is not a perfect...this is not a perfect world...this is not a perfect life...let not other people become the source of your frustration...even if you do things the right way, it is not an assurance that everyone would be satisfied...some will not appreciate what you say or do..and as you would disappoint some people, there would be people who would let you down too...life in the real world and in FFF, is almost always unfair...but life loves people who dare!... keep it up Elz...

i would not add anything to this...but i just wanna let you know that i have had my share too...the best way to handle this is to ignore it and ignore them...don't give them any satisfaction by acknowledging them...they can do the same to me, as i am no saint either...LIVE and LET LIVE!

I can truly sense that you have your own circle of friends whom you find worth your time, and likewise. Indeed, there are a lot here and there who are friendship-materials. We cannot please others all the time, but at least, here at FFF, we have the choice to ignore, or ignite.. Just call me ELZ

Jane, you've always been a love, and social "guru" to me, and I always bear in mind whatever you say in my simple ways of reflecting. I have offended others with my own candid ways or being straightforward and transparent. That's my trademark, and I have met friends who appreciate my traits, but I've also came across those who abhored my ideas because those are the things they refuse to read or hear.
