New Find

Nope! He wasn't part of the crowd here
I was just trying to_ search somewhere
See if there could be someone there
My profile ran into months thinking now or never.

Then I saw his entry looking at me
Of course I would never pay_ for a fee
This membership that makes me connect
So in one of my photos I posted a comment.

He was quick to read and noticed what I said
He sent me a message_ liked what he read
I just said would be good to_ email_each other
He stuck to_ the site where he pursued to_ converse.

The next thing he wanted meet me_in person
With covid out there_ I hesitated got uncertain
Where can _we_ have coffee it_ was still a lockdown
Then he suggested some patios would be opened.

No dine outs anywhere meeting was a bit futile
But because the open air wasn't as hostile
He decided we could go out with a coffee take out
Find a suitable park that is having benches around.

That started the following meets we often do shopping
We couldn't stay in a place for a sit-down talking
So he invited me one time to_ his house show his place
No qualms going as I had utmost trust with his kind face.

There_ were more meetings including a lot of planting
The fields were barren but there_ was a need for tilling
I often wished to_ plant in a farm when it_ could be spring
It was some dream coming true I was not expecting.

We are most compatible with our likes and interests
Never was any dull moment exchanging our histories
I could stay attuned to all of his witty quips and jeers
With all his endless stories he is a man of many cheers.

A new friendship needs exploring...any dalliance would be a lost chance, a lost moment and time, to enjoy what is left..am sure you will all agree, especially with me having my senior years already...like my madoz bro posted, i would just say i need all the best of luck , no matter the age and time, just to be positive...

me bro for now it the time to be free
meaning everything about life is me
i've done my fair share of responsibilty
the kiddos have been brought accordingly

for the few years that still remain
my main desire is to love the same
as the love that is offered as honest
as caring and will not be put to a test.

i shall therefore value what is there
enjoy whatever to me i will consider fair
for we are not both young but are seniors
our twilight years are about love and ardour.

Bruce has proven himself a persistent suitor that I cannot deny myself wanting...a true gentleman, man of his words. at his best a one-woman man...which to me can be enough to trust him...he has stayed married for 49 years, married his high school girlfriend and has remained loyal and dedicated to his ex-wife through the last 6 years, she was sick with a fatal respiratory illness..his past experiences in different industries honed his character and personality, as a blue collar worker, full of struggles and achievements and was raised by a puritan teacher/principal, with disciplined rules and behaviors..i am also praying him to be my last relationship.
