Good Friday or Black Friday?

Good Friday is said to be the darkest or blackest Friday but because mankind got saved the coming of Jesus and His ultimate sacrifice of death on the cross, it's thought otherwise, hence the term, "Good," despite the death of our "Messiah!"

Most religions believe mankind was saved with the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, but do you believe it too?

I remember being cautioned by my parents, when younger that Goof Friday is the day bad or evil spirits prowl freely on earth because Christ has died.

That one must not bathe or do laundry at 3PM, which is the time of Christ's death lest one catches a bad misfortune or mishap.

Are you also believing these?

Philosophically, I would like to think that mankind who were alive during that "era", but I honestly think, that the generations after that should be held responsible for the sins that they make...Otherwise, people will keep on sinning over and over again, believing they are forgiven, anyway...

My answer is NO....I do not believe in that superstition...PEOPLE nowadays go about their business even on Good Friday...However, Christians who are conservative prefer to rest, and just reflect and pray...Even in the Philippines right now, people are just confined because of the pandemic..Otherwise, they are all over the place and probably on excursions..

the free will or the freedom to do as one wills may have been the reason why humans erred..without that free will, there would be no right and wrong..there could have been only good when taught in that perspective..no choice but to accept..the rise of the devil and temptations all led to the world committing sin..Eve caved in wilh her curiosity and unbelief, hence the start of sinning and the death of a perfect workd that had been so designed in its original conception..

With the advent of modern era or modernization, so many culutral values were believed obsolete and irrelevant..as the generations age, habits and attitudes also evolved..that is why the older generations are the only ones sticking to what we call old traditions..anything that is said to be anceint would belong to its era...the millenials have different values and cocnepts far from what the old used to believe..hence, one finds the gap as wide and sometimes hard to accept and adapt...
