The Broken Prayer



The Broken Prayer does not mean literally as you are understanding it. It is prayer done in all humility because of desperation and hopelessness. It is surrendering to_ Christ, putting_ everything into His hands, during the time of your weakness and vulnerability. It is during such time that He responds. In fact, He is sure to reply whether it is to your liking or not. But He chooses His time in doing so, which sometimes you may not even believe. Always believe in the power of Broken Prayer.

 There was a time in the past, that I shouldered my own failures. It is always I to blame, forgetting someone greater and mightier must have something better for me. I have been amiss that is true.

 I think, as we get older, we have more time to reflect, and spend time praying. Our pre-occupation with other things have somehow diminished...

I believe that too. No more many thinkings by that time and pre-occupation with earthly desires is greatly reduced.
