Memory Loss - Written by a Confident Lady

After a meeting, I was coming out of a hotel and I was looking for my car keys. They were not in my pockets. A quick search in the meeting room, it wasn't there too.

Suddenly I realized I must have left them in the car.

My husband has shouted many times for leaving the keys in the ignition.

My theory is the ignition is the best place not to lose them.

My Husband theory is the car will be stolen if left at the ignition key slot.

Immediately, I rushed to the parking lot and came to a terrifying conclusion.
His theory was right. The parking lot was empty 😱😞😞.

I immediately called the police and gave them my location, description of the car, place I parked, etc. I equally confessed that I had left my keys in the car, and that the car had been stolen.

Then I made the most difficult call of all, to my husband,
Honey (I stammered, I always call him 'honey' in times like these ) , I left my keys in the car..... and it has been stolen.

There was a big silence. I thought the call had been dropped, but then I heard his voice. “Idiot", he shouted, I dropped you at the hotel!

Now it was my time to be silent. Embarrassed, and happy as well, I said, Well, then pls come and get me.

He shouted again, I will, as soon as I convince this policeman, that I have not stolen your car. 😁😁

Don't laugh alone 😄😄😅😅😂

Send to other husbands or wives because .........So many things go wrong daily, and you can't blame yourself all the times.

Absent-mindedness on the part of younger generation is due to stress related to job, studies and related problems. Lack of sleep and food intake also contribute to this. It happened to me a few times.

Depression, anxiety, alcoholism especially with drug interaction can also lead to forgetfulness. Intense sorrow and grief for a huge loss are also the start of mild to moderate memory loss.

What can I say? I have a mother who is suffering from dementia. She does not recognize us anymore, and if she did, she won't remember our names. She remembers dead people though, but not the living ones...So, I am afraid, I will inherit it.

it is truly in the genes? i have probably more cause to worry than you because i would always forget where i keep things unless i recall or trace back the last steps leading to it..and when i remember to get something, i even forget what i was trying to get...i have to put it in my head, when i store or keep something..otherwise what gets automatic is totally forgotten..one thing i don't forget are birthdays or occasions...even those of my high school batchmates.. errr...isn't august your birth month? and 24 is its date?
