What is love that makes it a widely cherished quality?
The experience of love tells us that we are not alone.
Loving or being love creates relationship.
It does this by affirming what we feel and what we think about ourselves, God and other people.
It is really difficult to love somebody we do not know.
Obviously we can not know everything about the person.
However, When we are able to hear or experience anothers person deepest hopes, dreams and begin to share our own , then relationship is created.
The honesty, integrity and health of that relationship is determined by the degree to which we are able to reveal ourselves honestly to other and the honest responses that we receive.
Thats why Truth, being honest about who we are, is so important, because if we present an illusion, or withhold some aspect of ourselves we distract love.
Love can be as painful and agonizing as it is glorious and uplifting.
