Mabuhay and thanks for visiting my profile. My name is Donald and my nickname is "Hoppy", named after my best friend who was killed in the Vietnam War! I'm a former U.S. Naval Officer who served at the U.S. Subic Naval Base at Olongapo City!
I currently live in San Diego, California. To be exact, in the Point Loma area near the ocean. I was born and raised in Chicago and graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. During my Navy days, one of my assignments was being the Officer in Charge of recruiting for the Southern California area, stationed at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where I received my MBA Degree in Finance. After my Navy days, I worked as a Certified Financial Planner in Century City, Los Angeles for a while, and am now working for myself and a few friends as a private adviser and investor.
I have many interests, with International and Domestic Traveling my favorite, along with golfing and water sports. Until 3 years ago, I was doing volunteer work with indigent children in the Philippines and preparing the foundation's annual financial statements. I really enjoyed it and would like to do it again in the future for 2-3 months a year. I have also traveled all over Asia and to a few countries in Europe. By the way, my four main personality traits are being God fearing, affable, easy-going and kind.. I'm told I have a great sense of humor and I do love to laugh  and make others laugh too.
