My own profile was VERY lengthy to say the least which gave Louise enough of an insight into who I was for her to make the decision to contact me in the first place and we have used this as the basis for many many many conversations since then as we get to know one another. If there is just one piece of advice I can give to others it would be to spend a LOT of time in compiling your profile. Be brutally honest and direct in your profile even if some of it is really weird or whatever. What you are looking for is someone who matches you and loves you for who you are and leaving critical information out of your profile will make things very difficult for you later. The aim should be that if a person does contact you after having read your entire profile then they have already accepted you and feel that they match your requirements.
