Rules
Ok guys. As the group seems to be growing and managing it is or would become a nightmare, I propose that we create rules on
1) What topic should NOT be posted and discussed.
Other rules that the members might decide to add. Those rules will be posted as part of the main page of this group.
Thanks for the input.

07/04/08 2:45 PM Am thinking that we can also use this as a way to put "trust" level on each other. A sort of ID Verification of our own. Someone will say they definitely know the guy and met them personally or have seen them on cam. Thus new members have a way of knowing whom they can trust. What do you guys say to this? |

That's what I was thinking... quality over quantity. | |||||

Thanks for the opinion. The rules are being posted so that we don't have to explain every time that there are certain things that one can't post. As you said yourself, you try not to post things that would not hurt anyone nor try to misrepresent yourself. But would you like to see post specifically targeting a specific person or race? Not for anything but because of one bad incident they have with them? The rules are not there to leave people out but to at least let the members know what are acceptable behavior with regards to how they express their feelings.
As for people knowing each other, those people can always opt not to join those who's gotten to know who. Though I do believe that that is one of the reasons why people come in here in the first place. To get to know another and thus be known as well. Am just thinking of establishing who knows who so new members will be able to get to know people who have the time to meet for real as well.
And that's the reason why we are discussing them here. Again, thanks for post.

Got all what you mean...thats why there are moderators to examine if not scrutinized every detail of every post. I was trying to post a quote for devon giving my yahoo id and it wasnt accepted...clearly there are rules even probably beyond the moderators hold but the the Gods of FFF. i dont know...maybe its just me but when i tried posting another quote without me mentioning my yahoo id, lo and behold it was accepted.
In this line of communication, there are people who are and can be deceiving and once we caught the person red handed and if we feel the person is not being true to himself and just plain and simply causing a lot of trouble, you have all the power to ban them...just like what you have done before....plain and simple...full stop.
As to members posting or commenting....i guess some people are not that very often on line and if not...maybe they are not just interested in the subject and more so maybe they feel better to just being quiet and reading is enough for them.
And in fact even some active members dont thread some of the message...sometimes it makes you question if you are being taken seriously or they are just plain and simply not interested to post...like the majority of this group.
But i still believe that most of the people here are sensible...maybe we can just simply apply the rule of being sensible....maybe...

EB's?????....it could be interesting if there will be posts for plan EB or something so people can see it. i never knew about your planned Eb till i went to the message nook.
Maybe at that time i was just so curious about what are the messages there...if not...i wouldnt go...maybe if we post it as a new topic then maybe we could attract more people to come...coz they will be more aware....and maybe planning it more time....perhaps...and if you know someone you can pass the message and invite more...
maybe...

Clarifications about the rules:
Rule #1 What does it mean to respect people and to respect this group?
Respect the MSM group
Rule #2 What does it mean to be an active participant?
Rule #3 What does it mean to have fun?
