Morning after...

If it weren’t for the ravaging emptiness mercilessly tearing your bowels you’d swear you could no longer feel. So wretchedly aching… so terrifyingly lost… so desolately lonely… so… so… so despairingly broken… words alone can’t capture the feeling. Feeling? No, that can’t be the right word! More like non-feeling… really. Like the sun suddenly blotted out by total blackness, your world slips into the darkest shadows as love unceremoniously walks out the door leaving your heart savaged and shattered all over the floor. Then… nothing it seems can ever be the same again. From what once was exquisite and boundless joy, such searing and excruciating pain… who would have thought one could lead to the other?- pdt 220506 “Morning After…” is here if you can relate ‒ to seek harbor, to strike a guiding light, or, just to let the pain go.
