Year of the stinkers! Feb 2, 2008 4:57 pm Mood: giggly, 243 Views This year 2008 is the "year of the rat", and with this, I consider them as friendlies, though they haunt my pigeons up on the roof...(Pigeon's egg is a delicacy to them) I view them as wise as their "sianse" down there at the sewers with the pizza eating ninja's, Who else?Why? because they are sleek and always have the keenest detection of their worthwhile enemies, of course, us humans! Some of them are even immune to the poison a pesticider can offer... Well, Honestly speaking, I see them as we are, with regards to the way of life some of us Filipinos do have, the day to day routine coined as "rat race"...Out on the hole for work and back after sundown for the kiddos to feed on... Worst among the worst fear is never to have them, not even one, to die inside your house...To those who haven't smell a dead rat before, It's like the shoes of a walking hobo on the street in Metro! A new year...touch and go... Dec 31, 2007 8:59 am Mood: grateful, 262 Views Thirtythree minutes gone by, a start of a new day for a new life this 2008... Firecrackers and fireworks subsides so easily...maybe because of the high cost of the "evil dispatcher" or the constant reminder of the Health Department... We all got to a Medya-Noche feast, with my yearly Paella at the servings, Morcon, a piece of Crispy Pata, Lechon Manok and all sorts of exchange-foods from our neighbors, carbonara, spaghetti and pancit etc... Sweets are the usual beans, halayang ube, buko pandan, fruit salad, mamon, chocolates ... My nieces coin the meaties as the"Cardiac Delight", "Pampapabata" as my younger brother would say, and I call the dessert "Diabetic ala carte". Guess, have to prepare my weekdays with few more miles and extra minutes for my basketball work out... A week of festivities to all you friends out there...Just take good care of your heart 'ha!... Witchcraft... Nov 20, 2007 3:52 pm Mood: scared, 297 Views A neighbour of mine, only 30 years old passed away recently...and no post mortem findings was found out on the hospital. He just bought a new motorbike for his daily service going to work as a security guard in a factory... Comes home, telling his mother,he had a bum stomach and back pains... Now dead!...His mother believes that someone was so jealous of his current position with the company, and made him ate a poisonous meal... He was even brouht to a "herbolaryo" far North, for faith healing... Only to find out that his health is fast deteriorating...two days more and He's out! Witchcraft?
