Sukob Aug 7, 2006 8:08 am 561 Views i fondly call this local horror movie "kutob" extremely horrific, great build-up of scare level, excellent sound effects, make-up and prosthetics, believable plot, professional and mature acting...this local film makes me proud to be pinoy..because this movie offering is world-class, and proudly filipino made. i can't talk about the plot, because it involves a curse, and im slightly superstitious and a total scaredy-cat. am not really into horror movies, but i was talked into it...i usually reserve such films ( the not-too-scary ones ) for friendly dates, when i want to sit closer to someone i want to smell upclose. lolz but this time i was with six of my closest female friends..and watching the film through tiny spaces in between my fingers covering my eyes. both the lead actresses have gone a long way..the first used to be terrible in drama scenes and could only act for comedies which became blockbusters only coz of her controversiality and who her parents are..but she has emerged as a survivor, personally victorious, and had starred in the best horror films ever filmed locally... and the second one has graduated through the yrs from childstar performances to heavy drama and effective comedy..another survivor of personal crises and misfortunes, but still came out as a winner. this film deserves five stars! 0 Comments

CA!!! had a great time with CornerAvenue, our group mod! she and i even squeezed in "shopping" into our EB hey Deadstar...someone asked me how u look like in person, i said, "if u look at his side-view picture in his profile, and combine that with the other side of his face, that's him! " hey JackRyan...someone asked me that same question..and it was only logical that my reply was, "if u look at his profile picture showing his back, and u imagine the front view, u see him! " thanks for teaching us a new word that day..a more indepth discussion about it later on. lolz Broodstar...one of my two male bestfriends...it is always great to see u! i wish that Jen, the group's founder was with us, but hopefully someday soon. we wanted to watch "Kutob" but there were no more tickets available...so we slept through..i mean we watched another film.
