last monday, Aug 21, i felt such loneliness that it almost took my breath away..so i texted my closest friends to meet up with me on fri., Aug 25..twas rainin hard but there were still five of us who made it..and i felt instantly better when i saw them.
we had coffee, dinner, dessert, and had a marvelous time at a videoke, as usual.
luv_a_fair sang The Carpenter's I HAVE YOU song with the mic, while my bestfriend, Issabel took my hand and sung the song to me, and the lyrics were so real for both of us, the kind of friendship she and i share, that i unexpectedly burst into tears.
issabel and i have been there for each other, through good and bad times...through the best and worst times...through sickness and health..through thick and thin..through sprained elbow and an operation..for almost two years.
the rest of the group that night, are also my true friends..we have been there for each other for almost two yrs now too.

i made a blog b4 about a very sick little boy in Just One Candle.
so very happy to report that the boy is doing good..he responded rather well to chemotherapy, and is currently attending school.
surprisingly, during my visits to his haus, conversations led to the dscovery that he and i are distant relatives...we have the same forefathers, in our province.
Adam Sandler...hmmmm..either u like his sense of humor..or u dont.
his current movie is ok.
it's about controlling your life through a remote control.
catch is..whenever Sandler encounters a problem at home or at the office, he used the remote to go past the problem, thus programming the remote to go on automatic skips, every time he encounters problems..making Sandler miss out on many important events in his own life.
good thing it's just a movie, so they provided a way out in the end.
wish real life is like that...wish it's possible to undo mistakes, make a brand-new start..but we just gotta work with what we really got.
