There were two people wanting to be a King. One wanted to get money from the hardworking people in the Kingdom and give them to the lazy ones. He wanted to take away the things that protect the people from danger from the outside. He aligned with the aggressive people from faraway lands. People were aware that if he doesn't win there'd be trouble.
He won.
The people of his persuasion become cockier than ever. They felt empowered and totally fearless. Rowdy and disrespectful. Knowing they can get away with anything.
Yesterday, the subway train lurched unexpectedly. I was standing and got thrown on the lap of a guy. I apologized and got a whiff of the guy's kili-kili power. If I decided to stay on his lap, it could've saved me from standing for almost an hour in the train. He looked like he liked having me on his lap anyway. But I had to stand up. I didn't want to lose consciousness coz of his scent. ahihihi
The other day, I woke up feeling as though I were drowning. There was a heavy weight on my chest. I dreamt I was with my dearest friends, staying together in the same room eating and laughing together. I woke up and after an agonizing second, I realized it was just a dream. A heartfelt wish.
I have been avoiding feeling like an orphan. But I never begrudge myself of any feelings I experience. If I feel happy, I embrace and relish the emotion. I celebrate it. When I'm sad, I give my sadness it's moment, and then work on healing myself of it, so that it won't haunt me afterwards. When I get angry, I also allow my anger to pass through expedited stages, so that it won't catch up with me later on. I analyze why I got angry and what is the best thing to do to tackle the source of my anger. I contain that negative emotion, and never deliberately hurt back with my words or actions, because I can never take back anything I say or do in anger. Then I also compartamentalize the adrenaline rush that the anger gave me, for future use. I tap on that energy every time I feel too tired, or even too sad to move.
When I am in love, I am very expressive. Life is short, and there might not be any other opportunity to nurture the person, so I always grab the moment and show my feelings.
I make sure that the people I care about know they are important to me.
And I miss them very much.
In a certain cathedral is where I give myself full freedom to think of them, talk about them, with The One who can make up for the geographical distance between us.
I hereby volunteer to be adopted by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt as their latest child. I am totally house-broken, toilet trained, and can even wipe my own nose.

12. When you open the faucet, you have warm water. I've been in an area in the Phils where I needed to fetch water from the artesian well at 3am. And to heat the water over the stove or an open fire. This is an extreme though. Not every Filipino has that difficulty with water supply. But you get my drift.
13. Lemme celebrate that one more time, in America, you got hot water in the faucet any time. U can enjoy a warm shower anytime of the day. And I shower atleast six times a day here. lol. It is very relaxing. Every time I open the faucet, I thank God and I say: God bless America!
