You will be alright. I hold nothing against you. Just remember you deserve better. So remember to stand strong and continue and carry on, one day you’ll meet the one who’s perfect for you.
I’m just a leave that once was attached to a beautiful and special tree. A tree I will always cherish and love for the rest of my life.
But like the rest of the leaves, I was just one of many trying to hold on to you thinking I was strong enough to stay attached to you.
Though the bright sun showered me with hope with a brand new day to look forward to and the moon kept me company each night I was with you.
It was the rain that poured itself onto us that tested our love for each other.
As you know, rain, sunshine, and moonlight are all connected as part of nature’s gifts to every loving tree.
Rain that visits you just to help you grow, sunshine that gives you unconditional love to remind you how special you are, and moonlight each night that keeps you company when you’re feeling all alone.
You made me feel so alive each passing day and night I was with you.
Because at one point in time I was a part of you and you were a part of me.
We both enjoyed the changing seasons of winter, spring, summer, and fall. And remembered the romantic song sung by James Taylor called “You’ve got a friend”.
And in me you will always have a friend, one who loves you for who you are and accepts my fate if it wasn’t I that was meant for you.
I am just a leave who once was attached to a beautiful and special tree. A tree I will always cherish and love for the rest of my life.
Be happy with the one you’ve chosen and I wish you the best always.
Know always that I tried to hold on, but the strength of the wind pulled me away from you. And know always that it was never your fault, but mine alone for not being strong enough to withstand the change in season.
Now the wind carry’s me flying away into my destiny where I will eventually disappear and be forgotten.
