cleaning my room, i saw things that brought back lots of memories...memories from a couple of years back and all the way since my high school days...all came rushing back.
reminiscing the past, i had questioned myself - IF I HAD A CHANCE TO RELIVE MY LIFE AGAIN, WOULD I?
I FIRMLY DECIDED NO... the past had made me what i am now and i have my son, family, friends and love to cherish.
being in love and be loved in return is one the greatest things that could happen in life. feels great to have found mr. right... your soul mate... but what will you do if the person you love has so much to sacrifice for you... has to endure hardship?...
will you choose to have him with you or let go even if it will be too painful and hard to do so?
everything that happens in our life and every person we meet serve a PURPOSE. whether the purpose is good or bad, it leaves us important lessons that will make us more equip, stronger and a better person.
even at my age, i still enjoy watching disney movies. the first disney i watched was snow white and the seven dwarves when i was five or six years old and had watched that movie for several times and yet i haven't lost interest watching from the beginning until the end.
i love watching disney movies not just for the animations nor songs but for the moral lessons viewers can get from watching them.
here is a list of inspirational quotes from some of the disney movies i had watched.
"Always let your conscience be your guide" Blue Fairy, Pinocchio
"A mother is someone who loves you and cares for you and tells you stories" Wendy, Peter Pan
"It doesn't matter if you have fins or feet. We love you for who you are on the inside" Ariel, The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea
"It is not what is outside, but what is inside that counts" Peddler, Aladdin
"Being brave doesn't mean you go looking for trouble" Mufasa, The Lion King
"My, my. What beautiful blossoms we have this year. But, look, this one's late. But I'll bet that when it blooms, it will be the most beautiful of all" Fa Zhou, Mulan
"Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer," Cinderella
"They say if you dream a thing more than once, it's sure to come true" Briar Rose, Sleeping Beauty
"Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten" Lilo & Stitch
"No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true" Cinderella
Remember the first time we talked? I was amazed at how i felt talking to you then. It seemed like i had known you for so long already. Talking to you then was so great that we didn't even notice how the hours passed.
We had our ups and downs... had faced storms and had struggled...we had so many hurdles along the way... things that made us closer to each other and made our relationship stronger.
I would never regret allowing you to change my life... never would I regret loving you and be loved in return...never would i regret having you in my life...
I only have one wish for my special day - 30 more years with you.
"You who i cradled in my arms You asking as little as you can Little snip of a little man I know i'd give my life for you"
"I'll give you a million things I'll never own I'll give you a world to conquer when you're grown You will be who you want to be You, can choose whatever heaven grants As long as you can have your chance I swear i'll give my life for you"
lyrics from the song sung by lea salonga
i love my angelo so much that i am willing to give my life for him if needed to.
LOVE ALONE WON'T LAST WITHOUT COMMITMENT. COMMITMENT is the most important, most critical component for love to succeed. Without COMMITMENT, love alone won't make a relationship last and succeed.
WHAT IS COMMITMENT? Commitment is a sacrifice a person does for love. COMmitment implies bonding in such a way that one promises to keep the fires of love burning indefinitely. It also means shutting one's heart to the possibility of loving another who might even be more attractive, even more lovable.
Committing yourself is quite hard but if you really love the person and would want to spend the rest of your life with him/her you should make COMMITMENT the foundation of your relationship.
Indeed, COMMITMENT is the greatest indicator of deep love. COMMITMENT MAKES LOVE LAST BUT COME TO THINK OF IT, ISN'T LOVE ENOUGH TO KEEP A COMMITMENT?
Once we have found love we fear of losing it and the one we love. We PROMISE and COMMIT to do the best that we can to make the relationship GROW DEEPER and LAST. They say that if you love someone you should give everything without asking for anything in return. But is it really worth to give all you can even if you feel that you haven't received anything in return? SHOULDN'T LOVE BE MUTUAL? BOTH IN THE RELATIONSHIP BENEFITED?
