If somebody will say "I LOVE YOU" to you right away, without knowing him/her very well, and happen that you like him/her too.... would you say 'YES' then?
We have taller buildings, but shorter tempers; Wider freeways, but narrower view points; We spend more, but we have less; We buy more but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families; More conveniences, but less time; We have more degrees, but less sense; More knowledge, but less judgment; More experts, but more problems; More medicine, but less wellness.
We've benn all the way to the moon and back, but we have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor. We've conquered outer space, but not inner space; We've done larger things, but not better things; We've cleaned up the air,but polluted the soul; We've split the atom, but not the prejudice; We write more, but learn less; Plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait; We have higher incomes, but lower morals; More foods but less appeasement; More acquaintances, but fewer friends; More effort, but less success. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but less communication; We've become long on quantity, but short on Quality. These are the times of fast foods, and slow digestion; Tall men, short character; short memories; Steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the times of world peace, but domestic warfare's. More leisure and less fun; More kinds of foods, but less of nutrition. These are the days of two incomes, but more Divorce; Of fancier houses, but broken homes. These are the days of quick trips, disposable diapers, Throwaway morality, one-night stands, Overweight bodies' And pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the show, And nothing in the stockroom. We've drink too much, smoke too much and spend too recklessly, Laugh too little, drive too fast, get angry too quickly, Stay up too late, get up too tired, read too seldom, Watch TV too much, pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom and die too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not life; We've added years to life, not life to years. The past many years have indeed introduced a lot of convenience but obviously we've not used it to improve the quality of life. In fact, we've resorted to a lot of political, economic and even more compromise and convenience, and we've ignored and abandoned the values of what is RIGHT, FAIR and HONEST.
Trying to forget someone you loved is like trying to remember someone you never know....... we come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by learning to love an imperfect person, perfectly....... Anyone can make you smile, but many can make you cry, but it takes someone really special to make you smile with tears in the eyes. life is a choice, YES!, but it makes me think if its really a choice then why sometimes we failed when we already had a choice. I've learned to love not knowing what was really there.... and then broke... is it a choice to feel it or there is something wrong with what i understand about it? well.... whatever the reason is... it is still nice and reasonable to live with it... coz every thing's happens for a reason...
