Bad Timing? by Julie Donner Andersen
One perfect segment of frozen time; Choreographed by a higher power, Rendering us mere puppets In a master plan.
One perfect mate for each person; Hand chosen by fate and good timing, Unaltered by circumstance or feeling, since love blinds.
One perfect idea presented on a silver platter; Unchangeable by guests or servers: Follow the rules and no one gets hurt, since love is a vacuum.
One perfect moment shatters perfection; Unconceivable defiance; Risky, yet bold. The soul stirs, and mistakes are made. But the heart remains true .
Imperfect people give into temptation; Recklessly following their own dreams Even if they differ from spoon-fed morality Or defy the odds.
Imperfect timing, careless emotion, Caution thrown Into the winds of change.
We belong to others; Yet in our hearts, We are lovers.
Are we imperfect, or is this simply Bad timing?

Only The Strong Can Survive By Aleja Bennett
In life we go through many things
facing it and the heartache it bringss,
sometimes we''re not on top of things.
Eventually, we start to rise above it all,
somebody helped us as we started to fall,
even when there was no one you had to call,
you felt stuck against the wall.
Don''t stay there, move away!
Be confident in yourself each day
telling yourself it''ll be ok.
Maybe it wasn''t so bad after all,
now that you''re standing straight, tall,
go out, treat yourself, have a ball!
Only the weak ones give into giving up,
they feel as if they have no luck.
It''s not luck you''re jut blessed,
separated, being different from the rest,
you have survived the world''s hardest test,
by giving positive action your best.
Only The Strong will Live long
and be able to carry on.

A Nurse’s Prayer by Jill Eisnaugle
Please grant me the stability To thrive where illness dwells With kindness and agility To care for those unwell So that I may share my passion When the patients need my touch Through everlasting compassion For the souls who yearn for much.
Please grant me hope and laughter To uplift an ailing heart On this day and each one after So that I can do my part To assure the burdened loved ones Of each patient I shall see That I’ll do all which can be done To my best ability.
Please grant me reassuring hands That soften o’er the years Give me a heart that understands The happiness and tears To better aid the ones in need Whose loads are much to bear So that wellness can take the lead – This is my Nurse’s Prayer.
