B-L-I-N-D-I-N-G L-O-V-E

Love has a way of blinding even the sharpest mind.
We don’t look because we don’t want to see.
But once love have been stripped away…
Then we see the real person clearly.
They reveal to us with all their flaws…
Their weaknesses, and their secrets.

Update and Upgrade

There is this misconception about “Shallow River and a Deep River.” That shallow river is similar to noisy, small minded people, while deep river is similar to silent, deep thinker people.
Surprisingly, this is not always the case in the real world. In today’s fast paced and ever evolving society, one must be brave enough to find out were the world is leading to. The basic learning were gained under the auspices of academic institutions are but foundations of how are we going to stand in the real world of work. One must be able to keep abreast in order to catch-up new things. Things that are valuable in the daily struggle of decision making. Otherwise, one would be left behind while others are keeping-up with what is latest in life. Being able to catch-up on ways and means will have a better edge, plus corresponding rewards even more than enough to trade not only with life’s basics but those extra perks as well.
Yet the struggle is not a one man army. The struggle exists within and among all members f the community where one is making a living. Therefore, one must be able to play a role in such a way that it will not ruin the role also played by the other member of community. In this case, one must be sensitive enough the feelings of others. Knowing what is latest can’t be found written documents alone. The experiences of others also plays a very important role in the shaping of one’s own learning. And vice versa, one must be ready to open oneself to others. In this interaction, each other’s learning experiences will be even honed and put into best use and produce somehow significant and extra ordinary output.
Incidentally, one common mistake a person’s conception in life is the notion on “how much of something the person has”. Self centeredness and greediness now comes in. This will eventually affect is manner of reasoning, his outlook in life and his dealings with fellowmen. Rather, one should set his mind on what he will be using of “what he have and how well he will be extracting value from this use”.

Self-motivated
The best experience I have gained as a “person in charge” was during my work as a graphics designer in a small business center in Las Piñas way back 1997-1998. The primary service that we offer then includes conceptualization, layout and printing of flyers, letterheads, personal/business cards, invitations, business forms and other printed matters. Other services include T-shirt printing, banners, streamers, panaflex signage, computer sales and video rentals. The manager handles customers while I took charge on the designing, lay outing, production and up to completion. In the absence of the manager, I am obliged to handle the customers to the best my ability. I did consider my work as a challenge on a daily basis. Unfortunately, the business only lasts for two years because of financial mishandling on the part of the owners.
Nevertheless, I am quite happy because I have accomplished many projects that are mostly tricky due to time constrained. What really guided me in my daily decision making is my instinct of ingenuity. I have always been a resourceful kind of person. I carry things not by what is needed but by what is readily available that will suffice in the completion of any task at hand.

Character: Innovative and Courageous
I noticed that I am innovative and courageous. I aggressively pursue my goals with enthusiasm. I am likewise independent and have this ability to make use of what is available. Being able to come up with a resolution out of practical reasoning based on realistic application.

Qualities: Realistic and Flexible
I am realistic – practical and down to earth. I am always flexible and very in tune with others feelings because of my empathetic nature. My faithful, easygoing, steadfast personality makes me a wonderful best friend. This is partly because I have an upbeat attitude and enjoys helping others.

Discipline: Personal Mastery
I always face challenges with confidence and willingness to take risks. Personal mastery indeed comes in handy. I believe the need of the group come before the individual. Thus, a little bit of everything plus a touch of intuition would be a good contributing factor. Basic know-how, paired with sense of care allowed me to feel personal accomplishment and acceptance. Having something to share and being generous with my time could indeed make the present moment better.

Outlook
I am quite willing to accept certain risks and make a strong commitment in exchange for interesting and varied work. I always want to play an active role in any events. In doing so, my ingenuity is being manifested. This strengthens my ability to take charge of my life, and place less faith in luck and more in my own performance. I learned to solve problems in a practical, uncomplicated manner. I take a realistic view of things in my daily life and tackle them without hesitation.

Unconditional Love

There are millions of reasons a person
can think of if a person prefers the one who loves them first.
They will just have to reciprocate, or give love in return.
Basically, it's an animal instinct.
A Being will be kind to those who are kind to them.
From that point, millions of other reasons can be drawn,
like, being practical, playing safe,
self assurance, self protection, and the list goes on.
Pure and unconditional Love do not wait or expect any return.
Being the first one to Love expects nothing else but the
happiness of the other person.
Even to a point of giving-up one-self,
and "dying" from one-self.
That's Love, unconditional Love.

To those who believes in Divine Creator,
when we face the final judgment,
"It is not the question of how many people Loved you?",
but it is the question of "How many people Have You Loved?"
that we will be accounted for.

To Love or to be Loved. Dec 21, 2008 10:25 pm

To Love or to be Loved.

As for me, I prefer the one I love the most.
"Love begets Love".
Even the devil loves those who love him.
A single drop of rain cannot break a stone.
But a series of drops, days, weeks, months, even years,
of consistent, persistent and ever loyal drop, will eventually
make even the hardest marble to break-in.
Metals can be cut by pressurized water technically.

What matters most, is I have Loved. If the person I love will
let go, then I will set free. But if it comes back, then in
the end, it was meant for me after all.
And the feelings of satisfaction is far greater, satisfying and rewarding.

I finaly found my angel... Dec 21, 2008 4:34 am

Love is a gift from Heaven.
Love begets Love.
If you give Love, you'll be loved in return.
There are countless reasons in loving.
But it is the motive of your heart that matters.
Giving unconditional Love is not easy.
Most of the time, you get nothing in return.
And in some cases, you get hurt
by the very people you Love the most.
The struggle to recover from this pain is not simple.
But the heavens know one's needs and longing.
In the most unexpected circumstances and turns of events,
blessings do come by surprise, far greater that any possible expectation.

While my special someone found another whom thought of as better than me,
The Heavens sent me an Angel in disguise.
Way far better, if not the best, than my previous special someone.

I thanks the Heavens for sending me an Angel.

I've Learned... Mar 21, 2007 8:53 pm

Just want to share this...

I've Learned...

that you cannot make someone love you.

that no matter how much I care, some people just don't care.

that it takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it.

that it's not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts.

that you shouldn't compare yourself to the best others can do.

that you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.

that it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.

that you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.

that we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.

that either you control your attitude or it controls you.

that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first, the passion fades and there had better be something else to take its place.

that heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.

that money is a lousy way of keeping score.

that my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time.

that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down will be the ones to help you get back up.

that sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.

that true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. Same goes for true love.

that just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.

that maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated.

that you should never tell a child their dreams are unlikely or outlandish. Few things are more humiliating, and what a tragedy it would be if they believed it.

that your family won't always be there for you. It may seem funny, but people you aren't related to can take care of you and love you and teach you to trust people again.

that no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.

that it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you are to learn to forgive yourself.

that no matter how bad your heart is broken, the world doesn't stop for your grief.

that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.

that just because two people argue, it doesn't mean they don't love each other. And just because they don't argue, it doesn't mean they do.

that we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change.

that you shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret. It could change your life forever.

that two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.

that no matter how you try to protect your children, they will eventually get hurt and you will hurt in the process.

that your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don't even know you.

that even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you, you will find the strength to help.

that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.

that the people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon.

that it's hard to determine where to draw the line between being nice and not hurting people's feelings and standing up for what you believe

Cancer Update from John Hopkins Mar 21, 2007 8:42 pm

Cancer Update from John Hopkins

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable
to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.

3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumours.

4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental,
food and lifestyle factors.

5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.

6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro-intestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.

7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages
healthy cells, tissues and organs.

8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.

9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.

10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.

11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.

CANCER CELLS FEED ON:

a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal,Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in colour. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.

b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soya milk cancer cells are being starved.

c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.

d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts)and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).

e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine.Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water-best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.

12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrified and leads to more toxic buildup.

13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.

14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.

15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger, unforgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.

16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

CANCER UPDATE FROM JOHN HOPKINS HOSPITAL
1. No plastic containers in micro.

2. No water bottles in freezer.

3. No plastic wrap in microwave.

Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its
newsletters. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well. Dioxin chemicals causes cancer, especially breast cancer. Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital , was on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us.

He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers.

This especially applies to foods that contain fat.

He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body.

Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food. You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else.

Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper. It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc.

He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons.

Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead.

Biochip has the potential to create new industries, reinvigorate others, develop new forms of social and political organization, and make possible different modes of artistic expression.

Biochip research and commercialization has seen an excellent start with a great momentum. The potential wide-range applications and economic value of biochip products are the main drive for this rapid movement.

For now, biochip technology is still in its early development. This is an ever-changing field. The future of biochip research and development is bright. Competition on this market is furious. Whoever controls the key technologies will be the winner.
