I always hear my coworkers complain about their kids especially about their sons and even about their husbands being hooked on drugs. I pause awhile and feel lucky, and I thank God that my son, at 16, is spared from having bad "barkadas" (friends) who could influence him to doing addicting things like smoking or indulging into drugs. He has a different addiction though, he is addicted to his BIRDS! LOL. He was very happy when his auntie gave him 2 pairs of parakeets as a Graduation gift.
Recently, one female parakeet (budgerigar) laid egss and hatched them. The bird hatched 6 eggs, unluckily the last one didn't make it. My son is now busy helping the mother bird take care of the young chicks. I hope they will all survive. With them around I feel my son is safe because he has a passion for them.
A knock on the door I opened I saw someone standing My son, On his shoulder was his bag He just came from school He sat down Took off his shoes Said, "Mama, guess what?" "A flying turtle", I said.
"I topped the Midterm exam in Zoology!"
Behind all the struggles, Life is still worth it With its little surprises And constant loving support.
After 20 years of marriage, a couple was lying in bed one evening, when the wife felt her husband begin to touch her in ways he hadn't in quite some time. It almost tickled as his fingers started at her neck, and then began moving down past the small of her back.
He then slid his hand across her shoulders and neck, slowly worked it down over one breast, then the other, stopping just over her lower stomach. He then proceeded to place his hand on her left inner arm, caressed past the side of her breast again, working down her side, passed gently over and then in between her buttock and down her leg to her calf.
Then, he proceeded up her inner thigh, stopping just at the uppermost portion of her leg. He continued in the same manner on her right side, then suddenly stopped, rolled over and became silent. As she had become quite aroused by this caressing, she asked in a loving voice, 'That was wonderful. Why did you stop?'
I will be quite busy these days, after the school evaluation there is the coming card day. I need to do the grades of the 5 sections I am handling. I am thankful that someone has the patience to help me with the excel and made me a program where I will just encode the scores and bingo the grades just come out.
Thank you so much for taking time to make that special program for me. God bless you for sharing your expertise.
Today, is the 15th birthday of my daughter, Jeziel Anne. I remember today, 15 years ago I saw for the first time this very beautiful baby girl at the nursery of Cebu Maternity House, Baby Girl Sanchez, where I said to myself, "oh my what a beautiful girl she is."
Now she is slowly turning into a young lady. I know there are boys who have set their eyes on her but I think she realizes that she is still much too young to be seriously involved in matters of the heart. I'm happy that she is doing good in her studies where she is currently a third year high school at the University of the Philippines.
GangGang, Happy Birthday! Always know that you are so much loved.
1st woman: I froze to death. 2nd woman: How horrible!
1st woman: It wasn't so bad. After I quit shaking from the cold, I began to get warm & sleepy, and finally died a peaceful death. What about you?
2nd woman: I died of a massive heart attack. I suspected that my husband was cheating, so I came home early to catch him in the act. But instead, I found him all by himself in the den watching TV.
1st woman: So, what happened?
2nd woman: I was so sure there was another woman there somewhere that I started running all over the house looking.
I ran up into the attic and searched, and down into the basement. Then I went through every closet and checked under all the beds.
I kept this up until I had looked everywhere, and finally I became so exhausted that I just keeled over with a heart attack and died.
1st woman: Too bad you didn't look in the freezer---we'd both still be alive.
